Was enjoying then disappointment
So I downloaded this game FOR the stickmen. As a millennial stickmen hold a special place in my heart. And here is this game based on them that isn’t something that makes you wait too long for chests and isn’t just another character card conquering game. Until league 25.. which I reached in just a couple hours…and then bye bye stickmen. Oh there’s still the mini stickmen game that it shows in the images but every other “level” makes you “battle other players” (which I didn’t really care for even when it was stickmen) which becomes little animated characters. Making this basically the same as every other character card game. I don’t care for these games and usually the app sits there only used every couple months before being deleted. Sadly I’m probably just going to delete it after this review. I can’t stand games that aren’t actually what the ads and pictures show, or make you play the boring stuff just to get one level of what you want. Like that save the king game. I just want some mindless entertainment to distract the adhd and you lost me when the stickmen “left it to the real hero’s”

Interesting Game
I originally downloaded the game for some time killing, saw the stick man style and thought it would be a good game. There’s no ads and it doesn’t force you to buy stuff which is refreshing and quite nice, but if you want to advance in the game it’s almost like you have to. There’s a long waiting period for opening the free chests you win in battles, like a couple of hours. I feel the chest waiting period should be no more than 30mins as that would get more people to spend more time on the game.
Another thing that is slightly off putting to me is the sudden change in game design. I originally downloaded the game as I liked the stick man style, but once you reach League 25 (you go down in Leagues not up so you start on like League 29), the whole design changes, it’s quite confusing as you’ve spent the past 5 Leagues figuring what characters does what, and now have to figure out what the new designs do. Besides in the levels you still have stick man fights, but in the leagues and everything else is changed. If they originally wanted the characters to be like this, they should have started this from the beginning and not the stick characters. In my opinion.

Only if you’re rich
I’ve met many great people through this game but after years of playing together they are all leaving. Pano keeps changing things to make it incredibly hard to advance if you’re not willing and able to empty your pockets. On top of that, they ruined the only fun mode of play called Turf Wars. At one point your troop count was tied to hero growth and many built up millions. One day they decide to change it completely and tell everyone that it didn’t matter how much you spent before, we’re going to erase your progress and separate the game modes fully. They created vanguards and started everyone at 0 basically. So now there is no draw to growing heroes and you have to spend all over again to grow your vanguards. This screwed over everyone that spent money and everyone that was f2p as well. Many quit, especially f2p. Many friends left because of Pano’s ever growing greed. They have made changes since to other parts of the game and it’s obvious they don’t want any f2p gamers. How can you trust a company to spend money on their game and build something when they just delete it and make you start over because they are greedy? I lost interest in spending and playing as well.

Personal Top Rated Game to this day Tied with Clash Of Clans
To start off I LOVE This Game To Death! This is my TOP #1 tied rated game personally and it’s tied with Clash Of Clans… In this game you build up your heroes strength and skills and you can personally strategize and select your own battlefield line up and by doing that you could have a totally kick ahh splash offense or a wicked silence defense vice versa/etc. or you can simply select “Best✊🏼” and it automatically puts your highest strengthened squad up. What’s also cool about this game is; it has its own mini games inside of the game itself. For instance: a mini game -forge- is kind of like (IN A WAY) the game 2048 mixed with some type of crafting table from minecraft LOL. It also has another mini fighting game inside of it called the dark tower and dungeon of trials, but you’ll have to download this game to see for yourself what i’m talking about and it’s well worth it. This is also the only other game besides Clash of Clans that i have EVER bought into the game with real money and it wasn’t even to “speed” things up or because it gets too hard to where you have to buy something, no, it was literally only because i wanted to. Anyways, guys and girls get this game because trust me your gonna want to 100%!

Fun game with lots to do, but so many crashes
Pros Core gameplay loop is tight and fun The game is constantly updated Progression feels organic and fun Tones of things to do you can lose 2 hours a day to this game While you can pay to win those players advance quickly so you’ll bearly see them. Game feels well balanced Fighters have a good range of power and designs making gameplay fun and challenging Cons The game crashes constantly, often during the summoning process, stealing your gems/stones and giving you nothing for them. Battles often crash as you win them, downgrading you, this can make advancing hard. Tower event crashes all the time it’s not worth playing. Events require you to have saved resources, but those resources are often stolen away as you use them via crashes Conclusion It’s a great game but right now It unplayable, I’ve lost more resources on crashes then I’ve successfully used. I really hope that in the future they’ll fix it, but I’ve been trying to play it for 4 months now, and at this point in the game my progress is being held ransoms by these crashes.

Great game - if you want to spend
This game was awesome when I first started over 1 year ago. It has gone downhill though due to the absolute greediness of the developers. If you want to spend money (and I don’t mean a couple of dollars here and there - they have priced their purchases exorbitantly) this is the game for you! It is such a shame because the game itself is really good, just too expensive to play…

Another Money Grab, no ramp up, you can’t just invest time to improve.
So, the introduction and first 20 or so levels are moderately fun but super easy. The graphics are great, and the gamely is somewhat fun, but there does not seem to be a ramp up. You go from easy to impossible just in time for them to offer the availability of pay-to-win features.
You get to a level where you either spend money or you lose. I installed the game for the puzzles and then all of sudden I’ve played through them all or I am forced to fight a super high-level Warlord who just spam summons impossible heroes on to the field, and several abilities, to wipe you out. Also, every time I get to a higher level and improve my heroes, I have to fight another Warlord with way better abilities than mine.
You have to beat them in order to continue, which is impossible without investing actual money into the game. There’s no way to earn the gems to level up fast enough. There is a summon feature that almost always summon different heroes that you don’t have, or upgrades useless characters you’ll never use or at least won’t want to.
Save your time, money, and frustration. Go play something else, or enjoy a podcast or something.

Is pay to win and has many bugs
Game could be better. Take ages to get to higher ranks and unlock warlords. Is many bugs that still persist, some of the bugs include not being able to place hero’s on the board and have to refresh, another is on game modes you have old hero’s on a new map, or players can jump their warlord to max level with the required points. Another if you’re on the shop and the game freezes it can spend all ur diamonds on chests. Happened to me and wasted 4500 diamonds and the devs won’t remove the items and refund what was taken. Warlords are £100 or doing quests for months and saving 5k they rotate in the offers. heros have a max level of 36 with rebirths it will take years to reach, not really much to do after daily quests. It’s Good art and a good concept but lacks PVP as ur always fighting bots. Needs work

Light entertainment
Been playing for a year or so, and it’s fun if not taken too seriously. I see a lot of angst from hardcore gamers about the gameplay and mechanics, but I just enjoy it for what it is, usually let autobattle win or lose and gradually improve my team and occasionally pick up strategies to play better. Frequent updates mean some adjustment, but I can deal with change. Overall something easy to do while multitasking.

App often glitches, Support is slow, unhelpful, and rarely makes things right when errors occur.
Purchased hundreds of dollars of items through the app and have been playing consistently for months, on 3 recent occasions errors in the app resulted in either losing items I purchased or losing ranking and rewards as a result of items purchased due to continued glitches in the game. Most recently I did not receive purchased items due to a connection error, spoke with tech support for the app and they were unhelpful in remedying the issues, instead referred me to request refund from apple. Refund requested and denied, apple says app developer is responsible for maintenance and remedying the issue. Developers tech support appears to be giving me the run around and not fixing the issues or replacing all the ranking and rewards from purchase of the items, therefore essentially losing items that were the reason for my purchase initially. This is frustrating, unprofessional and a violation of the purchase contract that took place when they took money from me but did not provide the all of the items purchased or quality of correcting issues to provide an adequate alternative.
