Ok but still a computer
I didn’t want t write a review until I gave it a good try so after 300+ game at the hard level, here are my thoughts. The game is ok but it is very obvious you are playing a computer. There are several inconsistencies with how the cards in the deck are drawn compared to real life. The biggest one is how many times the opponent would discard a given card and I would draw the same card from the deck, ie opponent discarded a 9 and I would draw a 9. This happens several times during each hand. I played in a tournament and only seen it happen twice. The other one is how consistently the big cards are drawn in a row. There are 16 cards worth 10 so you should see about 1 in every 3 cards but in this game they show up 6 or 7 in a row on a regular basis.
Once again it is not a bad gam but it is nothing like playing real.Show lessbgrhytytr
Some things make no sense.
The game plays fairly well, but opponent is “knock” happy. I very often undercut.
In Hollywood,the scores are often way out of correct. One hand (round) won sometimes adds 200 or more points to final score for the round. That’s not right!
Also, if one player has already won 2 games, why play the 3rd game. Even if other player wins 3rd game, the player who already won 2 games is the Hollywood winner anyway.Show lessAAAGGGHHHH!!!

I used to enjoy this game but since the last update it's become a joke. The computer invariably knocks within 5 cards or goes gin within 8 cards. There are better games out there - I'm deleting this one.Xyy man

Fairly sorted deal?
I like this version of Gin Rummy better than some of the competing apps. First criteria for a good Gin Rummy app is a random sort of card before each deal...; not sure this app passing the Statistical hypothesis test for a random sort of cards in the deal/stack ... there are too many times when winning or losing the first hand means the cards dealt will determine whether you win/lose on the next. The advertising takes far too much time to justify playing a round/game when/if the sort and deal is not random and fair. Nevertheless, it’s better that some despite the ads; I just lay my phone down and ignore the adsShow lessFafnir812
