Easy to use
Great app and easy to use, should make my life a lot easier and everything in my pocket on my phone
A pleasant surprise!
I don’t often review apps but I feel I should review this one as we don’t typically come across quality apps used for the NHS. Firstly, it was easy to set up an account. We oftn have to go through literally a bllion steps to access any software used as part of our work and this one was noticeably different. I particularly like the little animal, I think it’s an owl, and the general attention to detail they put in this app

Easy to use
Easy to use. You can book and cancel the shifts you like with no hassle. Saves a lot of time from agency calls.
Well designed app but poor execution in practice
The app itself is well designed and it was easy to submit all of the required information and references.
Unfortunately the registration process does not work well if you are not already a member of one of the registered trusts.
Application forms, proof of ID, references and occupational health information were requested again by two trusts and I received no feedback from them when I explained this information was available via Locum’s Nest.
The developers do communicate well and it is a shame the NHS is not working with them to streamline this process and fill numerous empty shifts. This app can not replace Locum agencies simply because it is not a universal passport for all of the trusts. I note there is a large collaborative of trusts in the south that has joined Locum’s Nest and this app could be useful for doctors already employed at one of those trusts.

Easy to use
Good app for finding shifts at your own pace and seeing everything that’s available. Downside so far is for employment history there are no Welsh hospitals, and no way to easily contact someone about it other than writing on here! Otherwise no problems so far

Has a good potential
Quite easy to use so far. Haven't actually booked any shifts yet this app only offers shifts in 5-6 trust around UK. So because of that, it's currently lacks any genuine credibility but if the number of trusts submitting the jobs will increase, then it has a potential to be useful. Although, three things the developers perhaps should look into further:1) allowing the Locums agreeing own rates, 2) there is no information about the time frame for payments 3) time sheet submission still requires development.

Ad hoc A&E doc
Sure, there were some brief growing pains in the beginning but it’s now completely straightforward and easy to book and claim shifts w/o a middle man nor fumbling around to print off paperwork etc. recommended.
Good idea only if it works
Its a very good idea if it works...saving nhs frkm big sharks who take alot of commission for arranging last minute locum shifts

Fantastic app!
The design is very sleek and extremely user friendly. There is no easier, hassle-free way to book Locum shifts, whilst simultaneously saving the NHS a lot of money. A truly clever idea and a friendly little owl to represent it!
