I’ve had to reinstall the extension every time I use the app- which means by the time it works- the test I was trying to book is gone. The notifications do not always come through. Overall this is not helpful and I wish I wouldn’t have paid for it. I’ve had this app for over 2 months now and would not get it again.Show lessLindieeee
Honest review
So I downloaded and paid for the premium after my daughter narrowly missed out on her first test attempt. Our DVSA re test date was 4 months away! After some initial faffing with getting the change your test date link from in the app to safari to work correctly we finally cracked it and got a date in 3 weeks time. You’ve got to be quick though when the notification comes, like lightening quick else the slot is gone! We missed a couple of slots as when clicking on the notification the app didn’t pre log you in to the DVSA re book site like it’s suppose to. By the time I’d logged in it was gone. We sorted this by closing all apps, turning off the “extensions” permission in safari settings then trying again after re turning the extension permission on for the app. Thankfully it eventually worked and bingo. Some perseverance was needed though and you need to be sat on your phone for this to work. Fingers crossed it’s second time lucky for us.Show lessBigChief83
Waste of money; decent as a free app.
The app is alright in terms of free features, but all it really does is save you from logging into the DVSA website multiple times a day only to find no cancellations available. I wasn’t going to pay the premium and didn't for a few weeks but kept forgetting to check for tests so I finally caved and regret it so much. You don’t have to pay for this app at all to get its use, you just have to open it consistently throughout the day, usually just anytime I pick up my phone now I take a quick look. The app experience hasn’t really changed upon paying for it, it just made it so that I use the app more because I don’t want that money to have been wasted on nothing. The extension isn’t great, takes a lot of troubleshooting and even blocked me from the DVSA website at one point - making me miss out on a test a month earlier than my current one :/ The notifications are few and far between, the first few days I didn’t get any whatsoever and the very few I have received take so long to come through that the test will be long gone by the time you’ve been notified. Don’t get impatient, don’t waste your money, just open the app frequently.Show lessokmofi
