Simple and effective

This app was easy to set up, thanks to the personal intro video by the developer. It instantly eliminated all spam calls that had spoofed my area code and first three digits, which was 95% of my problem. Yet it will pass any number in my contacts. One time low fee. Perfect.

Messed up call blocking

This app made a big mess and it appears i have to wipe and reset phone. Even after removing the app there are dozens of entries called wideprotect under call identification that cannot be remove. Thanks for the mess!!

Thank you for your review, if you still see WideProtect extensions under "call identification ..." - you did not delete the app. Probably we just deleted it from application menu, not from iPhone? It Works!

I’m on an iPhone 13 Pro Max. I was getting daily spam calls and robo calls. And even spam porn email text messages. I tried so many spam blockers. Even the really popular ones. They don’t work or cover both calls and email texts. Thought I would give this app a try. It works! For text messages you just type in or copy and paste the messages into the app and it stops any texts with similar words from coming through. And now I have gone days without getting one spam call. I will block entire area codes where most were coming from. If I don’t know anyone or have family in that area no need to allow calls from that area. So they get blocked. You have to follow directions in the app. Allow permissions for this app in your phone settings. And make sure you turn on permission for your contacts in the app so none get blocked. I really don’t understand how it’s not working for some users if they follow directions and give all the permissions within the phone settings. It a long list of permissions but every one needs to be turned on.

It actually works

You have to set permissions properly within the iOS Settings menu but once you do that the SMS blocking by keyword works great. Absolutely saving me from all these spam text messages. Why this isn’t a native feature in iOS is beyond me but good for this developer. Happy to pay money for an app that actually works.

Doesn’t work

I got this app to block 0843 numbers in the UK. That’s it’s only job. I still get 0843 calls.

Works on my iOS 15.2

I’ve just downloaded this. Very simple user interface and does exactly what it is supposed to do.

It didn’t work initially because I had specified the incorrect value for ‘Length of complete phone number’. I’m supposed to count the length of the phone number excluding the first 0. So for UK users, this would normally be 10. Not a big deal but would be good if this was a little more clearer in the hints.

But otherwise, it’s a fantastic app! Thank you!

Thank you very much for your review! Usually the app is guessing phone number length by selected country, but for some countries that could me numbers with different length, so you should double check. I will think how to improve it :)

Simply doesn’t work

I have a company spamming me with the same telephone number pattern that I have set up to block but they get through every time.

No longer working

No longer working. All have been activate but the block of numbers that I have blocked via the app still come through.

Unique Outstanding Design App!

I would really like to take a moment to talk about this Unique App. The Developer has put a great deal of Time hard work and a little love into this app! The software looks simple for you myself and our family, but trust me it’s not! The coding of this software takes a great deal of time like I said before to protect you myself and our family from people who invented the words Scam Fraud and Telemarketing Robo calls! They want our money, and our Identity the Developer has put this app out here for a protection system way to stop those calls! The Scam people change their number as fast as the Developer stops them !! But I believe the Developer is on top of them by the many updates that are being made and the fact the app works! I truly thank the Developer and Tip my Hat to Him. I hope if you read this you will download this app and give it a try! I don’t believe you will be sorry!
