  • Web App that doesn’t keep you logged in

This is just a web app that can’t keep you logged in every time you reopen. It serves it’s purpose and could be worse hence the three stars.
  • Could be better but works

Does what it says it does. Useful if you use a Discourse based community and want notifications on your phone, and/or just a dedicated way to access it instead of keeping a tab open at all times.

It would be better if the web view wasn’t cluttered with the super fat bars at the top and bottom. Would be better yet if it adopted a standard app UI, can still use the web view but have back button at top left and title in proper iOS ui.

  • Login not working

Junk app, just yank it from the app store already! Does not do anything more then browser already does (if that), logins requiring user name and passwords invariably fail.
  • Not much to this app.

The actual forums are good, a little convoluted, but good. The app basically does nothing but open those pages, and is pretty inferior to even just using Chrome to view them as this app has basically no options or settings. It won’t even open to a specific community by default. There are no alternate themes or layouts to make navigation or reading easier. There’s no search function to help find communities. It’s like a very, very basic web browser.

  • Web browser for discourse?

How is this even an app? It’s just a web wrapper for Discourse. Adds absolutely zero functionality.
  • Just a web view.

Could open safari for that much effort.
  • Needs work

It just loads it as a webpage within the app. Pointless, I can just go to my web browser and do that with less steps and get the same exact view. I was hoping to see the app integrate the features into an actual app.
  • Nice web app

Really looking forward to the native app that no doubt y'all are working on. Runnimg the mobile-friendly web app in a mobile browser is nice. After installing the native wpp, really unfortunate that tapping a row in a nice table view opens the webapp though. If that's what I wanted I'd be in a browser.

  • I don’t even get push notifications

So, mobile web view, it does show a badge within the app itself, but nothing until I actually open it. Really not great, yeah, it’s free but that’s no reason for it to just be plain bad.
  • Just loads a web view

Not sure what the point of this app is (except for push notifications) since it just loads a web view.
