Great addition information when flying.
I use the app with the watch when flying. Very helpful to get the alert supplementing Foreflight. Not sure where the data comes from, but way better than NAV Canada.
What on earth
I love this app. Very easy to use and easy to understand. I also use the map to familiarise myself with locations of townships etc.

Delayed notifications and lag time
Seems to be at least a 5 mins delay or lag time in notification when tested in real-time lightning conditions
Response from developer
The notifications are not instantaneous because all of the data comes from lightning detection networks where the data must be processed to calculate where the lightning strike occurred, the appropriate users to notify must be calculated and then the notification must be sent to Apple (who then forward it to your device). The delay should be relatively small however.

I watch local weather news which is not very detailed, this app shows the rain and the direction of travel giving enough time to get the washing of the line and bring it in !
Seems almost pointless
I get notifications for lightning that is miles away, but this morning it felt like it was almost right in my bedroom, and NO NOTIFICATION of lighting anywhere near me!
