This app is too risky for the general public to have access to.

I work at a bank and have multiple customers each week who have been tricked and scammed with this app. I have read comments and yes, folks need to be more careful and in the end you are responsible for your actions. As someone who is tech savvy and lives with someone who works in IT security I understand this better than most.

However, when you help people going through financial fraud every day you get a slightly different perspective. I do not have a great answer to this issue, but the developers need to take a look at how they can increase security and verification AND look at why this is the most commonly used remote access app by scammers. This application is simply too accessible, which I can see is a huge perk, but it is also a huge liability.

SCAMMERS GET YOU TO DOWNLOAD THIS SO THEY GET YOUR LOGIN INFO FOR BANK DETAILS AND ROB YOU

Enabling Scammers around the World

While scammers do have options, this one is the favourite.

Scammer

Beware this is a scammer. Do not download on your phone or you computer.

Mediocre

The keyboard function does not work on iPhone, you cannot input any information without connecting additional devices to your iPhone (which is dumb from Apple themselves), the app should have an added functionality in which you can open up a keyboard to type, you also must constantly have the app open and if at any point you close the app or have auto lock set to a short duration you will be locked out of reconnecting to your desktop (unless you are in the same network) you have to buy the premium or license a version of the same app in which you can connect whenever you like. Just make it so if you link your account you can do this for free, your competitors do the same exact thing.

Saved from scammer!

THANK YOU, your AnyDesk app security flagged an attempted connection as high risk and stopped a scammer connection from a fake shares/crypto company, lying he could get my stolen money back, the guy wanted to connect to my computer to “set up a crypto wallet” , but I refused & said just on my iPad, but when I told him it was warning ⚠️ risk, he said, “ just ok it anyway, then select ‘Don’t show again’,” He got very aggravated, pushing for the connection, BUT that button remained greyed out!! So he got very angry and hung up. Thank you SO much developers, for your great security feature , that prevented criminal access to my device. [I also used the option you provided to report him, can supply the website if needed], Again, THANK YOU 🙏🏼

Almost perfect, please fix this bug for ipad users

When fully zoomed out during a remote desktop setting, there are small black areas on the right and left, as well as the bottom of the screen. This occurs even when the remote desktop resolution perfectly matches that of the screen it is being viewed from. Having a full screen experience without any gaps on the edges would be ideal.

Hello! In display settings try to optimize the display by clicking on the "Shrink" option and see if this fixes your issue!

The best remote app

I don’t really write reviews but I had to after reading some of these negative reviews. This is the best remote app I’ve used in years to log onto my personal devices. Users who have been scammed by giving these people access, unfortunately has been brought upon themselves with no fault of this app but by their own negligence. Anydesk is a BRILLIANT app for the right purposes!
