Wow. Just wow. I recently started a small media agency and I can’t begin to tell you how easy this app has made things for me. I can storyboard and script for clients. I can plan and strategize for the future. I can take notes. It doesn’t matter this app does it all and does it so well. I hope they continue to update and add cool features to this app even though its already great. I’ve only tried this on my IPad as that’s typically where I do most of my notes and plans however I’m sure it’s just as great or if not better on laptop. However we need more access to more than just 3 boards!!!!!

Can’t type comments on iOS mobile version

I love the desktop version but when I click a comment in a board in the iOS version it just never brings the keyboard up leaving me entirely unable to respond to comments, which is probably one of the things I’m most likely to actually try to do on the mobile version vs desktop.

User Experience iPad M4

Still struggling with lag issues when writing with Apple Pencil. It seems to freeze after a certain number of strokes in quick succession. Sometimes worse than others.

One Issue

This is the best tool that exists for collaboration, with one issue.

It places images in the size of their resolution. Meaning a high res image will drop in huge on the workspace, while a low res one will come it very small. Once a large image is placed, everyone zooms out, and increases their font and lineweights and other images to match. Pretty soon, everyone is using font size 1500, and maxing out the lineweights, which makes it hard to use certain tools.

Solution: have all images come in the same size, but with different resolutions. Or, have a max frame size.

great when online, horrible in reality

This is not an app. It’s a web wrapper. It’s horrible. It dies when travelling and you don’t have constant connectivity. I sit happily working on the way to work, then the train goes through a wifi dead spot, or a tunnel, and I can’t continue to work. Everything just annoyingly stops you from working. Please, please, please make this into an app, that doesn’t rely on web connectivity to move a square around or change an arrow to blue? why do I need to be connected to do that? (And if you’re reading this and have an answer, see yourself out please). Additionally, even when connected, why doesn’t the search remember the results? It’s sluggish and every time I open a page, and go back, I have to do the sluggish search again.

Garbage app, don’t waste your time

Downloaded- tried to make a board, there’s absolutely no instruction on how to get started in app. Went to help page- there’s no links for getting started there, and with a free account no email support. All I could do is get 3 hints on how to zoom in on a blank board. No buttons to add any content, no menus, nada.
Tried to formally delete my account- from the webpage and app, can’t even to do that, when I googled how to delete my account from this worthless company, the links they show on their website link to a ‘profile page’ that doesn’t exist. Don’t waste your time.

Please improve QA / Testing

Every time I use the Miro app, I find something so obviously not working as it should.

Right now it is:
- Miro App on iPad Pro
- Apple Magic Keyboard with trackpad attached

-> Pinch to zoom on the track pad zooms/unzooms the entire interface, not the actual board.

I wish, you would test your app more thoroughly on different devices, including iPads with large screens, and the Magic Keyboard attached, and the Apple Pencil in use.

Ai features

Miro is upselling straight forward features like snapping a hand drawn line to a shape or arrow (which are admittedly nicely implemented) as Ai - requiring Ai credits to use them! This is not Ai, it’s a software feature that many apps have had long before Ai became a buzz word. If you want to charge for true Ai features then fine, but this is needlessly gating useful quality of life additions.

Sync issues

Love Miro but the iOS app 100% has sync issues. I’ll make changes to a board, with a good internet connection, then hours later check it and the board is in the same state it was in before making changes. Been happening for months now. Please fix it

Extremely hard to navigate

Unfortunately I had to download the app and use it as part of my work team. Even though I followed a link to join me to a team it instead had me create a team and an account. After I deleted that team and attempted to join that team once again it won’t let me login because I used a link and didn’t have to make a password, but can’t sign up because the email is already in use. Have attempted several times to get in but nothing will work.
