Reviews of Public Print Locations

  • It is missing things I would expect

I tried using this application with the printing at my local library.

I was trying to print a PDF from a URL. It printed it based on the web preview shown, which means paper orientation depended on how I was holding my iPad. It does not give any sort of print preview so that you can see it is doing this. It also doesn’t remember the user information. It would be really nice for it to remember the user information as in my case it was the library card number.

I later tried connecting it to my Google drive. I couldn’t figure out how to navigate within my drive, all it wanted to show me was files other people had shared with me.

Overall I found the experience more frustrating than useful. I am uninstalling it once I finish this review.
  • Not support ling file name

If the file name too long, it cannot print
  • Absolutely useless - Security Nightmare!

Unless you download the file locally, the app requires you to sign in with your email or cloud storage account, meaning this company now has your credentials stored.

Then, even if you download the file you want to print locally to the iPhone, it still doesn't like that and tries to get you to use a different method.

Third, I live near a densely populated area, and yet there are only 4 printers "near" me, two of which are over 40 miles away, one inside a major airport, and another that wouldn't tell me where it was located.

In short, this app is useless except for very specific circumstances.
