I'm sure the app works great but I didn't get to find out because it costs $4.99 to do anything useful with the text... even if you manually highlight, copy, and paste the detected text you get the first couple of words and then an upgrade message. Just charge for the app upfront, don't trick people into downloading something totally useless. I hardly ever leave reviews but this left such a bad taste in my mouth, I don't want other people to waste their time.Show lessHmmm223

This app is great! Take a photo of text from a text book and it converts it to a text file. You can edit the text in case it doesn't translate perfectly. Sometimes it messes up at the edge of the page near the spine. It also reads the text for you if you don't want to read it yourself. Can share it to drop box or save as a PDF.Show lessbobo02t

A trial without the purchase of the "expert bundle" or the CLOUD OCR was disastrous. I've tried many OCR APIs and software in the past the years and thus is in its own league. Absolutely pleased to share the news about this particular app with regard to anyone who's been looking for a reliable OCR.
