Clearly not a maintained app, avoid at all cost. Basic things do not work
Trash on ipad
Can only see 2 lines of the text your typing despite huge screen. Can't search peoples names search comes up blank. Buggy. Many times it wont show comments until i exit and restart app. Takes a lloooonnnnggg time to update. Gives me notification of new message but doesn't actually show me the message in the app until a few minutes or hours has passed. Sending photos through app sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. My internet connection is good.

Recent updates break joining a meeting
A few updates ago this app stops joining calls seamlessly. The call hangs and you need to kill the app and reopen to join. Also, audio is not enabled when you join a call - I consider this a bug as the entire point of joining a call, is audio….

By far, the worst app of its kind. Very hard to get connection to work. It seems like there’s extra “features” or something that ultimately make it impossible to login. It kept saying it couldn’t connect due to WiFi connectivity—-something I’ve never encountered with the other apps. Same with 4 bars on just cellular. Don’t bother. Just get Zoom, or if you have to, MS Teams or Google Meet. I’m sure AMZN will get this eventually, but do we really need yet another version of FaceTime ?

Add 2 Factor Authentication
Needs 2FA as if kindle left open at FC anyone can login and message without entering password.
Poor performance on ios
App has serious issues and I am not sure how developers are getting away with it. On the latest ios and fastest iphone app refuses to refresh. Is an old issue, I had it before but now is getting beyond annoying.
Kind of buggy
When I connect to a meeting as muted the Home Screen shows I’m not muted. It’s only after muting and unmuting that the Home Screen and the app mute are synced.

Not a great video meeting platform
I’ve had four opportunities to use this video platform for a meeting, and on each occasion the video failed to function adequately. 3 times on my laptop. At the initial sign-in my video worked, as soon as the meeting moderator would sign in the laptop video dropped out. So on try 4, I used my iPhone 14+, IOS 17.1, this time again voice worked, when moderator opened the meeting he could see my video but it was very grainy and the meeting required a clear video to conduct our meeting. So four tries, four failed attempts.
