Fun Game, But…
…God help you if you believe ANYTHING this game says. Most of the people and settings it represents, both from history and fiction, are mischaracterized to the point that it’s effectively disinformation against humankind. And I don’t just mean the obvious fact that [insert character here] wasn’t an anime waifu in real life. Spoiler-free examples: one character who was murdered in real life cheerfully says it’s okay that it happened. Another character affects the language and characteristics not of her real-life people, but their conquerers. Characters who were horrible in real life are made fun and cute. Ones who were ordinary people in real life are made into complete monsters. And if your only exposure to them comes from Fate/GO, your view of history will be fatally warped. So while I used to say the best way to enjoy Fate is to turn off your brain, I now say the best way is to have Encyclopedia Britannia open and fact check everything Fate/GO says. Somewhat ironically, doing that will expose you to a good variety of world history and literature, making Fate/GO an unironically good tool for learning if you use it wisely.

a good game with a lot of cons that makes it trash
The story and gameplay in FGO is absolutely wonderful, beautifully written story and fun turn based combat. However, these are arguably the only good points about the game. The gacha rates are awful and still quite outdated when compared to other gacha games. This game does have a pity, but not soft pity and the pity does not carry over to other banners. Moreover, as a f2p player, you may find it hard to save enough saint quartz (ingame currency) to be able to hit the pity, as the pity is an outrageous 330 summons or 900 saint quartz with no pity that can carry over. You have to either save a really long time for a servant (character) that you really like or you will have to spend tons of money to get that servant. The UI is also heavily outdated and at times can be very confusing and complicated for a new player. 2/5 stars wouldn't recommend to people who want to be f2p and people who hate bad gacha pity systems.

Very fun but be warned
The rates in this gacha are probably the worst I’ve seen in any game. Best advice is to save till you can hit pity which requires 900 of this game’s premium currency to guarantee you get the servant you want. You either accept the fact that you won’t be getting the servants you want quickly or be ready to spend a fortune to chase all your favorites. The free servants in the game are actually pretty good when compared to other games and the friend lead can pretty much carry you through most of the content of the game. I recommend looking up a few beginner guides to help you ease into the game. Take it at your own pace and don’t worry about trying to do any events that may or may not be active during your start of the game. Focus on the story and slowly save till you can tackle a banner with a servant that catches your eye. Second reminder that the rates are AWFUL!!! They don’t reach even a full 1% chance of getting the unit….if you’re summoning and not intending to hit pity then be ready to be disappointed.

waste time and money
I watch fate stay night and zero. Then come to join in this game. Login system is insane. No account no password no phone number no Facebook login. If you clear data, you lost everything. They have a lot of maintance, sometimes you need to redownloading, delete the old.
Problem with event banner
Having a great time with the game been looking forward to the 20 million downloads event but the banner to redeem the free servant isn’t there, I’m assuming it’s a bug of some sort as the banner for the free craft essence is there but not the other one, hope this is fixed soon.
Account recovery
For anyone it concerns, you can reach out to customer support and they can help get you your account back, speaking from personal experience. Drop rates can be hit/miss so if that’s your only reason for playing, you probably won’t like it here. The story is pretty entertaining especially compared to other gachas that primarily aim to cultivate gambling addictions and you have to be into that in order to enjoy the game. Some fights can be pretty hard to get done, but aside from challenge quests(which I haven’t seen in a while) you can still get by with story servants and friend servants(it’ll still be painstaking). All in all, it’s a game for FATE fans. You gotta want to play it lol. I also would recommend not buying SQ’s unless it’s for one of the guaranteed summons(unless of course you have the money to spare). Now is a pretty good time to get into it because you don’t have to wait for the story to come out, most of it is already done, so you can just play through. It can be pretty grindy if you really want to max everyone out but it’s not mandatory, I only go to those lengths for my favorites. For the best cost:performance ratio get skills to level 6 and NP’s to no more than 2/3. Also take advantage of those low star units, they can be really good. Nearly every premium unit has a free low star version that’s a lot easier to max out, and usually has a much higher NP gain rate.

Devs why…
I don’t know why they refuse to let us skip the np would the game break or something if they touch the code? Or auto battle, or let you skip a quest you already completed and get the drops? The game is too time consuming hence why I spend more time playing GBF which has these things implemented. I would like to play this game more but having to manually clear each quest every time just takes more time than it’s worth especially if you have real life to attend to.
A lot of people are upset about pull rate which is also understandable and a pity system would be good for that, although I have gotten a handful of 5 stars despite not playing that much or spending much money so I’m not upset about that. Mainly upset they don’t do anything to optimize the gameplay.

Not working
The game isn’t working it shows the first servant info screen and then when I press to go on the next screen there’s just a constant black screen
My thoughts
This game is amazing what would make it better is an auto play feature only for the exp card , training ground and QP missions
