Worth it
I’ve played the game twice so far and I can say with affirmation that this is worth your time. Both times I’ve encountered situations where I feel like I have an impact on the story and how it progressed.five raccons and a tuba
Fun!
But the ending was rushed, a year of doing things before the tourney and it is basically all for nothing. I don’t see the point of building your village, traveling around, buying an engagement ring or any of the other gear. A matter of hours doing all of this and then going to the tourney that seems like its so rng rigged you can’t lose.
The beginning 3/4 was fun and enjoyable. The last 1/4 was a pretty big let down.Show lessJunk app....
Hanging on every word
I played a lot of text-based RPGs on the computer when I was a kid (that should tell you how old I am), and this brought back some great memories. For those of us with active imaginations, games like these rely heavily on great writing, and that’s exactly what this game provided. Great game!
I really enjoyed playing this game because it felt like reading an exciting book, except that I had the freedom to choose ways to impact the direction of the story. I am pretty busy so this game was perfect because of the autosave feature. Also, the game instantly opened to the most recent page so I could immediately continue where I last left off when I felt like playing it. I especially appreciated the hopefulness of the game; it’s not grimdark. I highly recommend this game!Show lessgodpassion827
Classic Choose Your Own Adventure
Classic CYOA experience, with some significant world and character changing choices! There’s room to improve if the writers wanted to revisit it, but it still stands on it’s own pretty well :)Tir1990
One of the most Fun & Engaging games I’ve ever played
Loved that the choices you make actually effect how the story advances. I had to play through three times, once because I died (oops), and again after I completed it just out of pure enjoyment (I wanted to make different choices lol). Found myself getting sucked in, imagining the story vividly, and even got me to read! Just a bonus perk to a great game. Will be downloading part two!!
