  • Absolutely amazing

What a wild ride that was! Incredible writing and storytelling that kept me playing for 4 hours straight, and that was just the one playthrough! There are so many decisions that could change my experience that are left, and some that I never had the stats to pick in the first place! I'll likely play through this again at least once. Huge thanks to the creator of The Great Tournament, I totally loved it 💚🖤💜

  • Definitely a must play for anyone who loves choice-based games.

I love the story line and the characters. It is highly immersive and I also love the fact that you get to roam the kingdom freely during the preparation for the tournament.
  • Must play!

A really great text-based game! The characters and storyline are very immersive. The game is well-designed and also the app is very stable. I couldn't put this down and had to do my first play through in one sitting.

Applause for everyone involved in the development of this game!
  • Really draw's you in

It was really captivating I felt involved , I in joyed it from the beginning all the way to the end... I'm really looking forward to your future endeavours.....
  • Incredible

I can't remember the last time I enjoyed an app so much! The Great Tournament is a captivating interactive adventure leading you through the life of a young commoner who becomes a knight's squire. You get to read an enchanting story and indirectly choose its eventual outcome. And if you want my personal opinion, the app is even more fun if you listen to Renaissance/medieval music while playing!

  • Great story

I really recommend this story, it's very good and I wish it's longer but it was a great experience.
  • Pretty good...

Good game, but could use some editing and follow through in terms of some of the choices made. Unlike some of the other choice based stories out there, not much changes despite making different choices each play through. It seems the outcome is random at times (hence the hidden "luck" stat?). Nonetheless, it was enjoyable.

  • Very Good

I have played a lot of these games now and this one is very good. A well written story with lots of choices. Wouldn't mind a sequel
  • Surprisingly good

So, just to get one thing out of the way. This could have used a once-over with an editor. It's rife with capitalization and minor grammar mistakes, and if those really trigger you don't buy this. You may notice that this is still a five star review. That's because this CYOA is far longer and much more reactive to your decisions than most that I have played. I can't describe how it does this exactly, but suffice to say you can waste a full afternoon playing this.

  • Good

The story is poorly written for the entire first chapter and the thing is plagued with spelling and grammatical errors, I was tempted just stop reading in the first few pages but I endured and I did not regret it, the story was great and I couldn't seem to stop, I felt determined to marry the princess and save the Kingdom the whole way through.

However the ending was quite disappointing and felt very rushed, but the journey to get there was enjoyable and I'm sure I'll replay it multiple times.
