  • Awesome Story and Game

So I had been looking to get back into reading and while on the app store I stumbled across this. And from start to finish I loved every minute of it. If your into fantasy this is definitely something you should check out. The characters, setting, choices were interesting/great. Besides my character, Sir Robert was my favorite. Noble and funny. I very much enjoyed it.

My imagination flourish like never before. Wanting to be a writer myself, it helped get my creative juices flowing. Since I have shied away from writing. I’m definitely getting back into my project now.

Lastly, big big thanks to all involved in the making of this story. I was a pleasure to read. Can’t wait check out the sequel and the other stories.

  • Best of its Kind

The replay value is huge. I found myself drawing maps on scrap paper and color coding them for the first time since Betrayal at Krondor. You really feel like your choices matter.
  • Worth the purchase. But

I have had this for quite some time now and the replay ability is very high. Great story and characters and fun game mechanics keep the reader/player involved. My one criticism (which I hope is fixed in the next update) is that very often, at least for me, the game will close and I will lose all of my progress and be forced to start over. In the end... worth every penny but if the bug that causes the app to close isn’t fixed you will get frustrated

  • Taken by surprise...

Honestly, I didn’t expect much from this novel. But I couldn’t have been so wrong. This...just works, it’s hard to describe otherwise but it truly works. It’s free which is a massive plus. I would recommend this to anyone. The immersion is fantastic and the jousting matches really put me on edge, hearing sir Roberts anger and pleasure, his witty humour...everything. Truly fantastic.

  • Interesting take on an adaptive story

This is very familiar in concept to its videogame counterparts, but it kinda ends there. It’s great to have that idea of adaptive story in book form. Story is awesome, intriguing and keeps you coming back. Really like how subtle details can become important later in game. Really makes you feel your decisions matter. My only issue was a few grammar mishaps here. Also there were some times the story breezed over something that I thought would’ve been awesome to explore but now I think I’m just being picky. Overall great story and fun time. Totally recommend trying at least once.

  • Atrocious grammar and writing.

    Here's an excerpt.

"He takes a few moments to consider your story. If it was any other royal family member, I would say you are lying, but that does sound a lot like Princess Hannah." He looks at another guard, "Check him for weapons and let him through."

No dialogue breaks. Quotation marks aren't even in the right spot. Makes it downright unreadable, which is fatal for a choice game. Can honestly not understand the praise that this game is getting when it's barely up to high school standards.

Gameplay wise, it has more systems than any other choice game in place, which gives it fantastic customizability. That elevates it to three stars rather than the one its writing deserves.

  • Sequel???

This is an amazing game, one of my favourites of its kind. If there is a game that needs a sequel, it’s this one!
  • A great game!

A fascinating and engaging story that really makes you think carefully before each choice.
  • Such a great app!

The story, the characters and the character development is all so fantastic and I love having a huge say in the way my character develops. Definitely recommend
