Clunky crashy and trashy
I do not like this app at all every single time I open it it crashes and I’m unable to see literally anything that is posted in it because it crashes every time I turn it on. I wasn’t able to access an important document just because every single time I clicked on the button to open the app, it would just crash!The developers really need to fix this if they want people to use it still I highly do not recommend it and recommend Remind instead as it does a better job without crashing.

It’s good
Sports you is good to communicate with your coaches and teammates. I play for FCA Bravehearts volleyball and it is really helpful when trying to find the place you need to go. It has the days you practice and the days you have games. You can post pics and videos on it from games and practices. And you can make announcements. Over all this is a great app.

Worked great at first…
I am the head coach of a high school team. I switched our team from Remind to SportsYou because Remind had character limits and no calendar, files, or photos. SportsYou worked great at first but now messages are not showing as readable on our team feed. Images are blocked out by links when they’re both included in posts. This was not happening until the past couple of weeks. I deleted and reinstalled the app but it didn’t work. Everything shows up fine on desktop version but no one carries around a computer. The app is buggy and needs fixed otherwise it is useless!

Better than Band for team communication
This is definitely the best sports communication app we’ve ever used and prefer it over band for sure. However I cannot give it 5 stars because there are still a lot of bugs with it. Sometimes I’ll open the app and I can’t see anything on my home page after I get a notification about posts being made on one of my Teams. Other times the app just won’t load at all and I’ll have to go to the online version to see the notification.
If we can fix bugs that I constantly see after using the app for 2 years it would 5 stars from me! With that being said I still LOVE the app for communication and would totally recommend it for All Star Cheerleading!

Great Communication!
I use sportsYou for my track team. It’s great! If there’s a track cancelation, I get notified. There’s even a calendar for events to be scheduled on.
One issue though. The notifications go out as “announcement from Coach B.”
It would be so much easier if there was a way to have stuff send out as cancelations. Otherwise, you have to go into the app and read that there’s a cancellation.

Needs delete option
I really like the app it’s pretty easy to use. I have multiple teams that I need to communicate with at times and the fact that I can post to all of them is great.
My only issue with the app is 1 I can’t copy and paste for the calendar and two of I mess up I can’t delete when writing a chat. I need to be able to make corrections

Good, but could use some work
The app hasn’t seen any noticeable improvements in 2 years.
When I enter Posts from an iPhone, and go to next and go back, it is impossible to edit the post as the space I have is less than a single line while I have a ton of white space underneath it.
I can’t do photos and background colors.
I can’t reply to a comment. It rather just puts new comments at the end even though I may be replying to something further up. Along with that, editing and deleting my comments or the comments of others on my post would be appreciated.
Editing an event in any way erases all planned attendance. Grrrr
Being able to run a report on attendance would be GREAT!

I need help with the chat option and I can’t find a place to contact the creators
We love using this app for our figure skating team however, when we create a group chat for some of our team members, we are unable to see who has viewed the chat. It tells us how many people have viewed it, but we cannot see who from the group has seen it. Is there a way to check this?

Great app | few suggestions
- the new splash screen is painfully long. 3 of 4 times the user intent for accessing the app is to reference important logistic info from coaches or games, while in context of more urgent decision making. Suggest cutting duration of Gretzky quote.
- when trying to start new post or conversation > it’s unclear to whom and where I actually have permissions to post. I couldn’t understand why I couldn’t create a team chat. It seemed as though I ought to be able to. Help me understand difference between posts, chats, etc.

improvements needed
Allow replies to “chats” it’s incredibly frustrating to miss a comment or question and reply after 4/5/6 other team members have posted something else. It all gets lost.
