Order canceled twice
I initially ordered from Wendy’s. After waiting close to an hour I was told the order wasn’t accepted. And offered a refund which would take 15days or Hugo credit in my account. I accepted the credit. I proceeded to order a send time from someone else. Same thing. This is unacceptable.
Hard to order properly, often never arrives
I’m on a Caribbean island where this app has proven mostly useless. Even if you get your order placed through the difficult menus, many times the order never even arrives. Not sure why it even exists here.
TOO MUCH SPAM
App is for but they keep blasting you like 15 times a day with spam! I had to remove it as it is way too annoying
Dysfunctional app
Many issues:
We are in Jamaica and trying to order food outside the resort
Once you figure out United States is not listed as a country in English… estados unitos… then it doesn’t allow you to put in a phone number (cell). Was able to use a friend’s number for some reason after putting in 5 other cell numbers.
Originally when it didn’t accept my number I used a hotel employee’s number in Jamaica. This worked.
Entered in 3 types of credit card numbers. Amex, debit, and Visa. Didn’t accept any of them. Error message said it was my institutions that rejected them. False. All institutions had no contact from Hugo.
At one point, I thought all was good and I ordered food. Order was canceled. When I contacted Hugo, customer service said I was outside device area. Not true. All employees here use the app. I even had a hotel employee select the address / location. Hugo rep wouldn’t listen and rejected my concerns.
Also when I made the order, a customer service rep reached out via chat in Spanish. Then redirected me to an English speaking rep who was no help.
My wife continued the battle, used a number of a friend,(accepted for some reason), and now the cite is down.

Lack Professionalism
why when I order my food… it takes forever.. and when I call the rider they give me attitude?! Kmtttt!!!! Would not recommend to a soul… y’all give a time for my order.. it takes 100 years to reach….I normally buy stuff I know would be ready Quickly
Useless App
Half the time it doesn’t accept my card. I’ll drive over to the store I wanted to use it in and boom, it’s fine. As well as same said store will definitely have in stock what I want but the app will say they’re out. Simple things like beer and napkins. So if you get the day the app allows you to use a card they will more than likely call and tell you they’re out of an item you ordered. Good luck

Crashes when selecting help
App crashes when you try to select help with an order
3 hour wait for cold pizza
They told us 60 minute wait time and we didn’t receive our order for 3 hours. And it came cold. This is the worst app. Never again.
Payment Issues
Everytime I try to order food I have issues using my card I have to be re entering it every minute next everytime I do get to place an order it goes to review then it disappears
Glitchy and Hugo does not return your money
The app proved to be very glitchy and I tried connecting with the in-app support after an order did not arrive. After asking them to refund money for that order, they blocked my access to the chat function. I called corporate but it was a dead phone number. Then I emailed corporate but the website stated there was an error as the site doesn’t exist. It seems they have gone to great lengths to make it impossible to reach them and request a refund. If I could give zero stars, I would.
