Some bugs but overall amazing app
I live in Vietnam and have some issues using the app, because it jumps from 99K to 10M and I cannot see the conversations for 1-10M. That sometimes happens with larger amounts as well. But apart from that one of the most elegant and fast / simple currency converter apps.B.R.S.B.
My favorite travel app
I used Elk while traveling 5 months in Central America. It was a life saver! My favorite feature is that it automatically detects where you are and when you open the app, the appropriate currency is right there. No detach or cumbersome typing while shopping. I love this app! Inventive and simple.
This app has a really unique and novel way of changing the values, but it’s remarkably simple. Swipe right to add 10x, swipe left to go down 10x. Tap a value to see all the tenths in between. It’s really all you need. It may not be down to the penny, but as a travel tool, how often do you need that level of accuracy?

Beautifully designed and functional.
I love this app—it’s very simple and straightforward. You just need to learn a few quick actions and you’re set. My only three wishes?
1) Build an app optimized for iPad. There are so many travelers that use iPads in addition for laptops and phones for planning.
2) More color / themes since the existing colors can get stale.
3) More frequent updates. Seems like this app doesn’t get as much love with feature updates and bug fixes as it needs.Show lesstiiiiiikk
I use this whenever I travel
My fav app when I travel it is so easy and fast, I love it BUT..
Favorites feature must be added... like, it has got to be featured otherwise I’ll continue to use some other currency converter that automatically converts all currencies saved in favorites so I can compare in each currency at the same time.
It is absolutely necessary. Multiple currencies need to be converted at the same time rather than going back and forth over and over...

Watch app crashing & can't contact
The watch app is crashing left and right for me. If I don't interact with the app or if I interact with it too fast or if I try to enter settings the watch app crashes.
I wanted to submit a bug report or at least get in contact with the developer but I didn't find any way to do so.
I subscriber to the app so that I can convert to and from my currency but the apple watchapp is stuck on EUR USD.
If the apple watch app would be usable this app would deserve 5 stars but right now I just simply can't use the app so I give it 1 star.Show lesskkristoff
Intuitive program
So easy to use and if you’re on a country per day type of trip you are very thankful for any travel tool to be fast and simplewiddle12
Elegant and simple
Very elegant application with a simple interface. I’m using it all the time during my trip overseas. The Apple Watch app is really convenient.
The only issue I’ve encountered recently is that the watch app tends to reset the entered value to 10 often. This is quite annoying and should be an easy fix. Just don’t reset the previously entered value please.
Update: the app on that Apple Watch continues to be buggy. It crashes constantly and always resets my prior values entered. I’m starting to regret buying this app.Show lessBostonB

I was in Morocco recently, using the typical complex money conversion apps… lots of tapping to get a simple conversion. Slow and a bit frustrating.
I happened to read about Elk and gave it a try. Wow!
It automatically selected Moroccan Dirham with zero prompting.
Getting money conversions is ridiculously simple and very quick!!!
It doesn’t go down to 4 decimal points, but in the field it’s plenty accurate.
The design is aesthetically elegant and a pleasure to use.
