German Audio works

Needs improvement
First audio files are missing as some words are not clickable..
Second off, the app has no landscape mode. My iPad is installed on a magic keyboard and I have to twist my neck to read what’s on screen. Have to give up on this before having a neck issue.gu0214
Audio doesn’t download after 3 days
I’ve been trying every so soften excitingly to download the audio files and it just says 0%

Everything fine!
I have 5 languages dictionary and after reading some negatives comments I was scared if the app could work but it was everything completely fine ! I didn’t have any problems with bar code, I downloaded English and Spanish, I chose some favorites words and when I clicked a word, the app told me how to read it. I’m very excited! No landscape support for iPad
I mostly use iPad and rarely use phones yet I’m forced to hold my iPad in portrait as it’s just a expanded version of the phone app. Feels very unnatural and causes discomfort.tjperrott
This could be a good app
As a learner of Russian I was hoping that I could hear the audio for the Russian words in the book, but when I scanned the ISBN code for my Russian book it didn’t work. I also tried typing it in and it still didn’t work. I also tried it with my 5 language dictionary, my Chinese dictionary, and Japanese dictionary, yet nothing changed. Don’t get me wrong the books are awesome but the app doesn’t work at all. What a disappointment!Show lessApple person r500
Works well for German
I have the German-English dictionary. Scanned the barcode on my book and downloaded the German audio only (there are options to get English and German). I can type in the number of the page I'm looking at and it brings up a list of the words on that page, which I can listen to by pressing on a word. The pronunciation is clear. I like the 'Favourites' feature that allows me to save some words to a separate list, which makes it easy to revise the words I'm focusing on. I'm very happy this app works as I expected, since the negative reviews were dismaying to read before I downloaded it!Show lessfrechzaun
