  • Possible replacement for Filmic Pro

Since Filmic Pro is not subscription-only, I’m looking for a replacement.

    The good:
Dolby Vision (few apps support it)
    Very good controls
    Bitrate options

    The bad:
    No grid overlays
No level overlays (roll or pitch)
    No dedicated autofocus box
    No focus loop
    No focus peaking
    No dedicated autoexposure box
No zebra stripes (over or under)
    No histogram
    No audio levels
    No time codes
No zoom slider or speed controller (pinch only)

  • After ios 16

Was one of my favorite apps to record with but after my phone updated to iOS 16 it doesn’t function at all. Hopefully we can get a update in the future
  • No sound in half the videos

Bought the upgrade for longer videos and use this at a kids birthday party. It was used to create memories for him to look back on and half the videos don’t have sound. Very disappointed that this is a missed opportunity and we can’t get these messages back from our guest.
  • Lost Video!

This app would get 5 stars if there was a way to retrieve video from a app crash! I lost a whole recording at the end of the game!
  • I have problem

I was recording my daughter’s softball game and my iPad died and it didn’t save the recording but it is still taking up space in my storage it’s not in the document section. Is the video saved somewhere else if so where?
  • Pretty good

This app is amazing. But are a few things you need to know before you download. First of all it does cost three dollars to record longer than 30 seconds. When you exit the app, to do something else on your phone or iPad, when you come back on the app it starts over and you have to make a new video. I am a YouTuber and this makes it very hard for me to do things with this app. Now here’s the good stuff. Once you do pay that three dollars if you have enough storage on your phone you can record up to seven hours of course no one would do that but if you really had to you totally could
I recommend this out for a few things of course you get the pause and go so whenever I want to do a cool transition, I can pause it , and restart it. You can change the speed of it. You can change the quality of it. You can change front camera and back camera. I definitely recommend if you don’t really care about quality but if you do maybe try something that’s a little more advanced. These are my opinions and sure you’re gonna have your own but this is my review and I hope it helps you.

  • uh

man i thought this was free and i was excited to use make my project video but instead there’s notification pop up and it say PAY NOW OR NO NO i was like oh wow what a rip but still everything like frame resolution is very good but i hope it’s free for record more than 20 sec :(
  • It’s decent

It’s super fun to make stop motion with it’s just that the videos have to be twenty seconds or you have to pay three dollars which is vey annoying but otherwise it’s fun
  • My review

This app is amazing! But only one thing, you can’t turn the camera around, like you are going to take a video in selfie mode. But other than that, I love it!!!!! 💜
