  • Love this game but....

I reached out a week ago complaining that during the game play the game kept timing out or freezing, no response to that yet. The game was working fine during the free trail but once paid... freezing. The next thing is how I was charged twice for this game. I don’t like how I’m not getting a response back and the game is STILL freeing during the mini games. I’m disappointed with this purchase due to these issues but I do love these types of games..... wishing the levels could be a little more challenging as well.
  • This storyline is TERRIBLE

I am a big fan of Delicious Emily and all of the GameHouse games. The gameplay is amazing as usual but I have to say this storyline is so incredibly raggedy I can hardly stomach it. Baby mama drama, death by explosion, weird talking plants, dirty cops, some characters are so dense it’s annoying to read. I mean any other time I love reading through the story but this is absolutely pitiful. I really wish this story wasn’t so awful because it really takes away from how cool this game is. I’m just hitting “skip” to bypass the story because it really is bad.
  • Too much unnecessary dialog

I play these games for the storyline so I was really disappointed with this one. There were too many side discussions and stories and a lot of left out information. I found myself searching for who Helen was because it was not initially explained. Sally’s character is over the top and annoying. They’ve made her so dumb that I question how she’s able to do any job well. I gave up halfway through the game. But I did like the game play.
  • Story too chaotic and not fun to read

I’ve played almost all of the gamehouse games and loved the last sally salon game. I usually play for the game and the great stories where you feel really connected with the characters.

This is the only current game that I literally skipped the entire story because it is too chaotic and doesn’t make sense half of the time. (Which is sad since I had to pay for it).

I found both sally and Francois’s characters completely different from the old games and sadly annoying. Again, I usually play for the story but this one is just too crazy for me. I didn’t want to listen to any of the characters. The game itself is good, but the story is highly lacking. It’s like someone just threw a bunch of jumbled lines together and made up the story as they went.
  • Charging Fee is Terrible!

The mere fact that you have to pay $10 a month just to play this game is ridiculous!!! Only played the first chapter and now all of a sudden to continue, it’s $10 a month or $2 just for another chapter???? Honestly, why charge?? Might as well just make the game itself $5 or more to completely purchase the whole game from app stores instead of displaying as free, and after the first chapter, you have to pay either $2 for every chapter or $10 a month to continue the story. It’s not worth it for people who only play the one game.
  • Too much death

In Emily, hearts medicine, and even their new games, their storylines match and make sense leading to other games and that’s one of the things I love about the games. This story didn’t make sense at all. People getting shot, talking plants, and people being brought back to life with amazing hairstyles. It also bothered me how much death was in this game, even if it wasn’t main characters there was a lot of death. Then the characters would brush off the death or laugh at it.
I know it’s just a game but I see enough death in the news that I don’t wanna go play my game thats relaxing for me and see more pointless deaths in my game. I understand if it’s completely necessary for the storyline though.
  • Great game however....

I love all versions of these game for the most part and this installment of Sally’s salon is great with the exception of the obvious “black character” he’s a little racially insensitive using phrases like “ da bomb” or “bootylicious” only speaking using slang it’s highly stereotypical and a little offensive when his character comes on screen it’s cringe worthy and hard to watch I would consider and update with a serious overall of that character other than that I love the game
  • Best Gamehouse game in awhile

I love time management games and Gamehouse games in particular. This game is one of the better ones because it is much more like the original Sally games from about a decade ago. (The customer voices are even the same.) The storyline was silly and over the top with very adult humor but I really liked it. The diamond purchases went towards helper upgrades which I like a lot better than just in game decorations. The only issue for me was that even on the expert setting, getting 3 stars on the first go round was easy. Loved it anyway! Better than a lot of games Gamehouse has been putting out recently. Thanks!

PS- Why can’t I access my old Emily games anymore? I am on IOS.
  • A bit pricey!

I like all sally’s games. Actually i got all of them even the really old Sally’s salon! But this new one is pretty pricey. My star rating actually is more about the price and not about the game itself because the game is good!

So I bought the first 20 levels and finished it pretty quickly. Now im trying to get the next levels but its making me pay the first 40 levels! I mean...i already bought the first 20 levels. So why make me pay the first 20 levels again?! Its like tricking the consumers. There should be a way to buy the next levels. For example, there should be a way to pick the levels to buy. Either per 10 upcoming levels like 21-30 or per the next 20 levels like 21-40. The price of course can differ depending on how many levels you want to get! I dont have a problem to pay for the levels because i do enjoy playing it. But dont make me pay for the same levels again!!! 😒

    Developer Response

Thanks for your feedback. Could you please write us at ghos@gamehouse.com with more information so that we can help you out (please mention the game, the bug, what device you play on and the OS version it runs). Thanks for your help! Kind regards, GameHouse
  • Wish the story lines weren’t so long and drawn out.

I have been playing all these Delicious Emily and similar games for years now and absolutely love the game play. My one personal complaint though is that the story lines keep getting longer and stranger as time goes on. By the end of this game I was just skipping through the story part because I just want to play! For me - less is more. I understand the need for a story, but half of the stuff going on was unnecessary and drawn out (in my opinion). Also, I would love to see a little more complex game play in the future. The games are getting way too easy for seasoned players.
