  • Lovely storytelling & Beautiful art

Quiet, peaceful and beautiful. A lovely story told slowly through simple game mechanics that don’t punish trial and error. Beautiful artwork, great music & sound. I played this through to the end in short 10-20 minute sittings. The game makes it easy to pick up wherever you stopped. I really enjoyed the experience and recommend it heartily.

  • Beautiful

I never thought a game could evoke such emotion.
  • The most original and amazing game

I admittedly have only played a small amount of this game so far, but the Art, music, gameplay are all so perfect and beautiful. Kudos to those who made this game! Well worth the 99 cents. I would gladly have paid much much more for this level of quality. Thank you to the person/folks who created this. It’s obvious that this game had a lot of passion behind it.

  • Beautiful, entrancing and poignant

This is a lovely game that provides just enough context to get going and which then unfurls itself with an increasing but never alarming sequence of puzzles—almost riddles—to solve. And, while doing so, the backstory of the old man is slowly revealed, elevating the experience beyond the simple pleasure of the game play itself. This game has an aesthetic and a certain psychological stance that it establishes and maintains throughout. This is definitely a game that I want to tell others about and tell them to play.

  • I wish this could go on forever

Lovely relaxing whatever it is. So nice to find something that doesn’t involve killing or maiming. That alone gives it stars!

I don’t think it’s a game, because I don’t have to do much. I feel mean when he falls over, and am a bit cross with him at the moment. I could carry on moving him about forever, I’ve no idea how far through I am, and hope I’m still near the beginning.

    Thanks for fixing it

  • Can’t open

Star are only given so I can contact. Your fix for opening doesn’t work. I have the new iPad mini ios14, it just hangs on a silhouette of the old guy walking and goes no further. Please get back to me when you have fixed it.

  • Lovely

It took me a couple of attempts to get into this game but I’m so glad I persevered as it was well worth it, lovely story and graphics and good puzzles, it can at first seem a bit fiddly and cumbersome but stick with it as you suddenly find gameplay flows and your getting quicker at moving through scenes, infact I was just getting a rhythm going when it was all over, leaving me wanting more.....always a sign of a good game.😃

  • Antidote to the common screen time

Come and get lost in a storybook where the lush landscape moves just enough to let you progress from puzzle to puzzle, traversing meadows, mountains, a bay, even the sky. This game is beautiful in its own right, but the beauty for me and my children right now was the peace of the gameplay. The music, the images, the story, the game play that is manageable for my 5-year-old, intriguing for my 9-year-old, and challenging enough that I had to slow down and think and try different approaches here and there. Most of all - no buttons, no prompts, no counters of achievements in the corners, no reminders to come back or the old man would suffer, just hills and waves and the occasional sheep. And how many games can you play on your iPad that almost bring you to tears? I’m sure my boys don’t understand the emotional weight of the story, but they are enjoying every step of the journey anyway.

  • Looks good but not really worth it.

    The Ups: Graphics & Story
    The Downs: Gameplay & Controls
The Verdict: Good for children and adults that like very little challenge.

Pleasing graphics and a touching story but that’s about it. Very simple gameplay with very little challenge (first half of the game almost none at all) and the controls although very simple can become very annoying at times especially in certain areas. I saw the game all over Appstore but then waited and bought it when it was $1 if I’m not mistaken and I’m happy I did. Definitely not worth its full price for me.
