Requires latest iOS
I would like to get the app but can’t download it because it requires iOS 15, this means I need one of the newer iPhones and I can’t, it would be nice if these apps would be compatible with older iOS systems as it just blocks the app from some users, I will just stick to battle scribe because it works on older operating systems and (according to some other reviews) actually works

awful ipad interface, useless for tournaments or playing the game
awful ipad interface. it is the iphone interface. it takes up the entire screen but only utilizes about a third of a screen with what looks like the iphone version. It is missing large chunks of the game, data sheet rules are generally out of date, armies of renown are missing with no way to add them even if you own the white dwarf. No dice rolling functionality. It is incredibly slow. you have to click through multiple screens to find the information you need.
You can’t even split screen the app to run a dice roller or have something else open while using the app.

App won’t even start up on latest version of ios
Keeps spitting out a ‘nurglings in the system, please try again’ error.
After a week of trying I just uninstalled the app without ever having used it.

Don’t waste your money
The app was barely functional to begin with and now you expect people to pay to use it? Just another move from GW to alienate the users later base.
A service problem
Thankfully I only paid for a month. How can a paid service be so completely and utterly horrible in comparison to a certain free website. Browsing this app is unintuitive and clunky.
You still need to buy a physical codex I’m order to see the faction rules.
I typically dislike people that whinge about the cost of a niche hobby. This is the first time I feel GW truly are taking advantage of their customers.

I want to love this app
Every time I try to log in, it says something about “Nurglings in the system”. Tried to reset my password and it just sends me an email taking me back to the “Nurglings in the system” page. SUPER frustrating.
Not worth the money
When you consider other list building apps are free and they are updated with new points costs from the balance data slates within a few days. This app you have to pay for, then you also have to buy an army book to get your army’s rules on the app. So if you want to learn the rules of other armies you have to buy there codex as well. And it takes over a month for the app to be updated with new rules. It should be updated the same day new rules are made available.
The only reason in my opinion the apps are any good in the first place, it’s the only way to really keep up with all the constant rules changes and rules bloating.
Such a shame because this could be a really good app!

Easy to use
App is easy to use and works very well, However it takes WAY to long for them to update new rules.
Worse then a Battlescribe even after all this time
GW’s app has some UI issues still such as when selecting dedicated transports there is no easy battlefield role to click on for them as with the other roles you have to go hunting for it through the entire codex’s unit list and ironically will simply have a rule printed wrong from time to time. They are also inconsistent on the pace which the app is updated for new rules often it is within a few days but for the balance data slate and the new season somehow Battlescribe has updated before their application which had the rules well before Battlescribe’s guys did.

Better options available
Soooo slow to update to latest rules and points. Easier to use and better alternatives available
