Rewards aren’t given

This app is okay but it’s frustrating how it doesn’t give you the awards you’ve earned & ruins some awards you’re about to get 🙄

All Fitness Levels

The first time using AppleFitness+ & for using for a couple days & weeks it has many workouts for all or most fitness levels. There is a feature that I like is to create a workout plan for days of the week which includes how many minutes, weeks to workout, choosing trainers & music. Hoping in the future updates you are able to edit a workout to include in your custom plan to remove or add exercises & also better music selections to make it worth your time.

Grossly inaccurate

Do not trust this app to track your activity. According to this app I have taken 12,510 steps so far today and walked 9.36km. But if I click on the 'Ring', it says I have taken 7,610 steps and 5.29km. So which is it? Those are two very different figures - being measured and reported by the same app! Meanwhile, my Garmin watch says 6,710 steps - I trust that figure a lot more! It is like this every day. There is absolutely no point in using this app.

Also, the awards are all buggy. For example it says I had a streak of 54 days that ended 8 days ago. Yet my 'current' streak is somehow already 13 days long???

Terrible programming and obviously no testing. I'll stick with Garmin watches and Garmin Connect (not perfect either, but I trust its accuracy a hell of a lot more).

It just doesn’t work

So many of my workouts don’t get added to my exercise rings. It shows the workouts listed in my daily summer, but the sometimes the minutes get added sometimes they don’t?

No step count

For some reason the app has stopped recording how many steps I’m doing and therefore is not linking with my other applications. Please can you fix this

Using daily

As I am a traveller, I really enjoy the flexibility of being able to do a yoga/ dance/ HIIT workout wherever suits me either on my phone or through AppleTV.
I find all of the trainers have different styles and favourite music genres which keeps things fresh and fun.
I enjoy going for a walk and listening to the chats but would really like a “walk/run/ hike and listen to Apple music” functionality as well as “outdoor bike ride and listen to Apple music” ability while tracking my ride/ run/ walk etc…
I do not have a watch and have found my phone perfectly adequate.
The awards are motivating for some but I’m really into the workouts & closing my rings.

Can't play on TV anymore

I used to love this app. They're fun work outs. However, the only way you can really s appreciate the classes, is by playing them on a bigger than an iPad screen - aka a TV.
I used to mirror view Apple TV which up until a couple of months ago didn't seem to be a problem. Recently, the video might start but then stop after a couple of minutes, and I'll have to continue watching it on my iPad, or it either just doesn't work at all and will not connect to the tv.
I'm using the same network, Appletv and phone are up to date, and I have no idea what's going on. So frustrated now I hardly ever use Fitness+ anymore.

Rewards still not updating

Your rewards are still not updating correctly. I have done three days more than the requirement for August and it showed, now August is gone, uncompleted. 🤬🤬

Your 200% reward doesn’t work. It is stuck on “you need another 981 kilojoules today to earn this reward”. I have done almost 250% 😡 Please work through the reviews and update the app.

A great tool for your fitness journey

I absolutely love this app! There are always new workouts so you never grow tired of starting the same routine over and over. The coach’s are filled positivity helping to make each workout feel empowering. And the ability to have a small bit of control over what music you listen to is nice, although I wish there was more. It would be nice to create your own playlist to workout to or more music style options. There is also a good variety of workout styles to select from. I have been enjoying the strength training and cycling options on the days I workout at home. The yoga videos are amazing replacements for the days the yoga studio I attend is closed.

I want to give it a 5 but am giving it a very strong 4 as I don’t think many of the workouts are beginner friendly. I wouldn’t say anything is extremely advanced but as an example, I’m new to cycling and would love a way to build my endurance without randomly selecting a cycling workout and hoping for the best. It would be nice to have a way to filter easy vs hard workouts or have some indication of beginner, moderate, advanced levels. I have definitely learned that a workout is not any easier because it is 10 minutes vs a longer 20+ minute option.
