  • Cool app

    Really cool app
  • Gamification ftw

The five minutes approach is great even though it does put some extra pressure on you to do as much as possible in those five minutes. Whats the problem with that ? Well, when you’re trying to make sense of a language that has a new alphabet it’s better to take some time making those new letter-sound associations. That aside, I like the app. My favorite part is that I get to chose whether or not I want to learn a word so that I don’t have to waste time relearning the few words I already know.

  • Amazing app (one small criticism)

I have been using this app for a week and already know half of the Russian alphabet. I have tried other language apps and this one is amazing the notifications help me stick to my schedule and do this every day. I do wish that there was some sort of system where it would evaluate when you have learned a certain word or letter because sometimes it is hard to tell but overall an amazing app.

  • Drops

I’m new to drops, and I’ve just tried out my first Russian session today. I’ve tried out multiple language learners over the month, some good, some decent and some not helping at all. Drops is actually one of the best ones I’ve come across (along with Memrise), and I love using it already. I love how it has categories for certain things which really help writing it down in my notebook and allowing me to be able to pick what I want to learn next. I really recommend this app for everyone who wants to learn a language in an easy method.

  • No Persian language!

    Hi!
Drops is perfect and I love it so much. I really love Russian but I don't have enough time for going to classes. Also I don't need to know Russian, It's just as a hobby for me but I really enjoy it.
I wanted to mention about Persian
language that you don't have it in your lovely application-Drops-. I know Persian as well, actually it's my mother tongue!
So I can help drops if you want to add Persian language to your alternatives.
I think it's necessary because lots of tourists come to Iran every year and people in Iran doesn't know English or any other languages a lot, so tourists will face with such a big problem!Maybe just knowing necessary things will help them a lot;) Or maybe someone wants to learn Persian just as a hobby like me.
So I can help drops and of course I don't want any money for that, I just want to help to my country and other people.
I want to say thank you again for your lovely and interesting app!
(Sorry if I have some mistakes, English is not my mother tongue.)

  • Amazing!!!

I’m a 12 year old girl and some of my friends are Russian. At school I love languages but we can only do 3 and I don’t want to drop Spanish, German or Latin so I decided to learn Russian out of school and found this app. It’s amazing and I have learnt so much just in 5 days!! I play it for free and get 5-10 minutes of Russian a day! It’s amazing, I recommend it to anyone who wants to take up another language! ❤️

  • For the curious learners should definitely give it a try

I have only got the free version of it for the now, I find it very useful, I am 16 years old been homeschooled since the age of 14 in the UK, I had troubles in school due to my attempts to fit in with other pupils which now I come to realise that because my whole school life was focused on trying to make friends I never seemed to achieve much in school grades or truly understand my own learning abilities to then now where I have a passion for astronomy and science and people say creativity works at its best when it’s not forced upon and only when you have an enjoyment in a topic is when your true learning ability of understandings shows, would definitely recommend for the curious and the passionate learners.

  • Better than Duolingo

I love this app! My family is russian so I have some vocabulary and can understand some stuff, but I downloaded this app so that I could learn how to read. It starts you off learning the alphabet, then moving on to words and phrases. The pronunciation of the words is very accurate and the voice is definitely modeled after a native speaker. This app is better than duolingo because it starts you from the beginning, with the alphabet instead of words and phrases. It is important to know these first before learning diction, syntax, and grammar. If you want to learn Russian, this is the app to do it with. The only reason that this did not get 5 stars is because of the time limit. The 5 minutes is a good time frame and really pushes you to produce answers fast. But after they run out, you have to wait 10 hrs until they refill. If you want more time, you have to pay for the app. This was advertised as a FREE way to learn Russian. I understand the whole premise is to be as free, but maybe have just choose to view an ad for 5 additional minutes. Otherwise, this is the best app I’ve seen yet!

  • ‘Twas good

    ‘Twas v good
  • Sooo good

I was struggling to learn Russian as I always seemed to forget what each word meant and how to say it . This is app is great as it always reminds me what the word is while also challenging me . This app is also good as it doesn’t give me too much to learn , it’s giving me time to learn at my own pace. I would definitely recommend this app!!!
