Reviews of Valera Health

  • A new beginning

My first therapy was with yazettShe helped me tremendously. She was a very good therapist and then up and disappeared in thin air and then I had another one that wasn’t so good and then I have now Cynthia Wiggins, which is doing good for me. It’s very hard to find a therapist you can try to relate to that’s understanding what you’re saying. and healthy and trying to resolve the situation. Thank you and have a blessed day.
  • Easy to Use, but Buggy

The app is great and simple to use, IF it doesn’t give you so many problems with bugs.

Communication between my therapist over the message part of fhe app is good and we have weekly video sessions, but there has been an appointment invite stuck in my inbox for months that I’ve already confirmed and completed and it’s constantly a little red dot in the corner which I hate. Also, the logging in is such a pain. There are constant error messages when confirming my pin which practically locks me out of the app. Most the time it keeps me logged in with face ID, but not Face ID isn’t an option and no matter how many times i reset my pin, it won’t recognize it 90% of the time. Super annoying to try to log in 50 times to actually be successful and then be logged out when I switch screens just to have to do it over again.

And if during a video session, I press the microphone button to switch between speaker and non speaker, it cuts my therapist out and I have to press it twice more for their voice to come through again.

The app and therapy is worth it, but the developers could stand to do more updates and fixes, and maintenance
  • Bugs

Bug in the app. I went to send a refill request. I don’t know what pharmacy is set as my usual pharmacy, and I can’t find a way to check it or change it in the app, so I manually entered the pharmacy name and address. When I did that, the medication name field cleared. When I re-entered that field, the pharmacy address cleared. I tried submitting with just the pharmacy name field entered (in which I also added the address) but the app would not permit me to submit a refill request without something in the address field. I tried contacting app support through the App Store, but the page was not found.
