Great tennis app

I love this app! Amazing content with professional videos and scientific explanations. Watching the training videos with Sasha Zverev was a great insight to how top players train and I am enjoying using the training blocks calendar. Highly recommended if you love tennis!

Poor pricing model and lack of transparency

No transparency on the cost. You have to click on each exercise, see how much it cost, and buy individually. Nowhere on the site it shows the total cost. Or does it offer an option to buy the whole program. I do want to buy content from Jez to work on my tennis fitness but honestly, who came up with this pricing model? It's terrible. Please improve the pricing model. Here are some recommendations:
- Add price transparency. Transparency = Trust!
- Introduce a option to buy the whole program, or even entire modules. Price of those should be a discount of buying individual items.
- Offer money back guarantee (at least 30 days)

Thanks, JP

Response from developer

Hi JP. We are very sorry to hear you had issues with the app. The app is available to purchase either in bulk at a discounted rate, or per section. If you click on Buy section a pop up will come up and show you the discounted bundle price. Hope this helps you to enjoy the app better.

Scam do not purchase anything

This is a scam. Jez green has insight, but it’s sad he’s getting caught up into greedy marketing schemes . Do not buy any of the programs individually. The programs are purposely missing information separately so that you have to buy all of them together. What’s more is that they are not very transparent on what you are buying. For instance it cost 10 dollars to unlock the schedule. This shows you what type of activity you are doing on say Monday or Tuesday. Such as speed training or elastic bands. Then when you click on what exercises you are specifically doing for the speed training it’s locked... for another 10 dollars. And another ten for elastic bands. And 10 for information on rest. You can see where this is going right?

Response from developer

We are extremely sorry and disappointed that you had a bad experience using our app. Our goal was always to have an equal amount of paid to free content and I believe we have rectified some issues you describe here in our latest release. The schedule section is free along with the training system which provides free content for users to learn about the system and decide if it is worth purchasing the additional sections. We wanted people to be able to watch an outline of the training system and hear the philosophies of Jez Green before deciding on purchasing the entire app that consists of 3 training blocks lasting 6 weeks each. We welcome any more feedback from you to make your user experience better. You can contact us directly anytime via the built4tennis website if you are still unhappy with anything at all.

Why bother to say it's free?

Less than 15 minutes of free content, but it isn't really content. It's 15 minutes of advertising for the in-app purchases. It will cost you $100+ to get anything out of it, but you wouldn't think of downloading it if it had a $100 price tag.
