Pocket Guitar Chords User Reviews

Top reviews

Yes.

This is a good app.
It works.
Right now, anyway. Which is more than I can say for most I have tried.
However, being pushed to write reviews, and have them pop windows over what I am trying to do ruins the use-ability of the app.
Because as you can see I am now righting a review so I will be left alone, so that I might actually use they app, which was the point of my downloading it in the first place.
Consider whether you are rendering your own app too much of a hassle to bother using, when you making unusable until a review gets posted...

Great

Thebest. It presents the cords in an easy matter. I like it now I am addicted to the guitar

Thank You Dev!

I can tell this app is either a small or one man operation but it gives you an extensive library of chords and variations with finger positions and R/L handed versions all for FREE. No monthly BS, no in-app purchases, hell, I don’t think they even have ads.

I really appreciate you (all?) for making this app, it’s perfect (and constantly getting better).

Simple and effective!

This app is well designed, clean, intuitive and just all-around really good! There are a few chords I couldn’t find, but as it says in both the description and the in-app info, the dev keeps adding more, so that’s not really a problem. All in all, if you need to find chords fast, this is the app I’d recommend. Other chord finder apps I’ve used have a lot of unnecessary features and are complicated and annoying to use, but this one just has chords; it’s as simple as it gets, and the interface is lightning-fast and distraction-free. And did I mention no ads? It’s great. If you’re on the fence, get it.

So easy

It’s a god send for someone just trying to strum some easy songs in quarantine

Great app

I’ve been play guitar for years, mostly in senior centers and nursing homes. 90% of the songs I lead audiences in singing use the basic 3 chords (C-F-G7, G-C-D7, etc.) with a minor thrown in once in a while. I often eliminated those “odd” chords like Aug7 and Diminished but this app makes it easy to look them up and learn them. Thanks!

Great no-frills chord finder

Just discovered this. I like this because of its simplicity. Just tap in the chord name and it’s type and there’s an easy-to-read tab. Barring of strings is not indicated but easy enough to figure out. Developer pledges to add more chords with each update. I look forward to that, although this will probably meet my needs as is for a while.

Good for a newbie too

I am a total beginner and this app is super helpful as I can see the images clearly.... it would be cool if one could strum the image and hear what the cord sounds like however I can do that on another app. So I end up using them both at the same time as I find these chord images easier to read.

So very easy to understand.

I like this guitar chord chart easy to use and understand. Thanks for this apps very helpful.

Handy and easy to use.

Great app for the price (free) and very easy to use. Would like to see the addition of some more advanced chords but nevertheless it is quite handy when you need a refresher or an alternate voicing. It would be cool if you could add in other voicings and additional chords as well for your own personal library of chords.
