Dominant hand unclear

This app is a great reference. The large size makes it super easy to see. The dominant hand was unclear to me since the R was not the prominent selection. I had to compare to other chord charts. Love to simplicity of this app to quickly see the chords.

New at Guitar

Just going through the chords for the first time. I’m learning that some chords may take more time than others. I play the ukulele and Learned a few chords wrong because I learned on my own.
I hope the guitar will be a bit better with technology helping.

Chords

Good for quickly learning minor and major chords

Very handy if you’re not guitar George

I know the basic cords, but this is exactly what I need when things go off the rails….. Now I don’t have to Google some of these obscure finger patterns anymore!

App Review

I am a beginner guitar player. Finding App, has been a Godsend for me (to use).
It’s quick, easily accessible and as straight forward, as can be!
I love this App, and plan on using it, at every turn, during my progression, to become a really good guitar player!

Simple and Easy to use

Great app that gives you what you want without a bunch of bells and whistles!

Just started with the app

Just started with the app and I like it a lot so far. One small glitch I have already noticed is that when I try to ask for a variation of an augmented chord I am booted out of the app. I still think it’s pretty great though and I think it is just a glitch I am seeing.

Nice and Simple!

I needed to learn some unusual chords for a project coming up fast. My other chord app was out of commission because it didn’t keep up with my iPhone updates. This one works with no learning curve extremely intuitive!

Thanks for creating this!

Fonts are too thin

Hi. So far, I am enjoying the app and it seems to be helpful when writing a song. As a designer, illustrator, typographer, I find some if the fonts to be a bit too thin. I would use a medium or semi bold. In the chords section at the bottom, bold fonts are used. But when switching back to look for key, the typeface is thin. There is no consistency there. Pretty nice app.

Intuitive and helpful

Very straight forward & intuitive. Sure, it could have a few extra simple features, but that’s not what this app is about.

There’s a million other chord apps with all sorts of extra options and stuff – but those apps all cost money, (usually a subscription based payment system which is the worst!), and the free ones are invariably littered with obnoxious ads that pop up every 10 seconds.

With this app you will not see any advertisements, you will not be asked for any money, and it does everything the App Store says it does. Nothing more. Nothing less. It LITERALLY could not be any more straight forward than that.

If there’s a person who owns this app but doesn’t understand how it works, I would want to know how that person managed to download the app in the first place, or how they were able to unlock their own iPhone/iPad, (and then I’d wonder if that person even knows what a guitar chord is, because…well, you get the idea.)
