Doesn’t work with the original Gear 360
The Gear 360 2016 model isn’t compatible with this app. When the camera is in pairing mode, the phone can find it in the Bluetooth settings and connect to it but this app doesn’t detect it. All they would need to do is make a simple firmware update to allow iOS support.Not working
I’ve had my Gear 360 for 2-3 years now, never had a problem connecting until now. I haven’t actually used it for a while and it seems to be IOS13 related, my iPhone will connect to the Camera but it won’t realise it’s actually connected. Digging online it seems Samsung has stopped bothering trying to fix this..Show lessOK When It Works
I seem to have a lot of issues with the device remaining connected to the phone. I also have to go through the connection process in a specific order for it to connect, I could live with that though if I wasn’t having trouble maintaining the connection. Would be great if Samsung allowed it to work on a tablet instead of mobile phone only.Show lessSaving photos
I have no trouble with the app, but when I save or share photos they are not saving in 360 mode!!!DO NOT BUY IF YOU ARE AN APPLE USER
I purchased this camera thinking it would be a cool and price friendly alternative to GoPro, however this camera DOES NOT work with IOS at ALL!!!!!! The updates are lies!! You can literally only take a picture that will upload to Google 360 navigation app... You can not see photos while you take them and you definitely can't take videos. I had the older model of this camera and never had issues connecting with the app. It’s been 2 years I have this new one and I avoid using, it never connects, tried everything that you can imagine but just makes me mad, impossible to see the pics I took so why bother. Probably selling soon although I feel bad if anyone will buy this. I will never recommend this ever. And I can see I am one of thousands. WASTE OF MONEYShow lessWorks great w/ios13
Works great, connects great once the Gear360’s username/password is entered in correctly... just copy it as shown and enter it into your iPhone ...if it doesn’t work, YOU are the problem, you’re doing something wrong.
Just wish their was more options in the settings, otherwise it works good.New update means it doesn’t work
The latest update released two months ago rendered the app unusable. Nothing has been done since then. Waste of money for the camera and waste of time having this app. Surprised Samsung can’t manage to fix this in a reasonable timescale. I can connect to the camera via WiFi signal and the camera indicates that it’s connected. However the app prompts for a user and password after I’ve already connected and for which there is no relevant information. This app and this $200 camera is useless. My company bought this for business use and I will be suggesting alternatives as we cannot obtain the necessary media for the advertisement portion of our business. It does not connect although cam said connected. Ios13
