Green Eyed Monster of Greed
The developers get players engaged and enjoying the game. However, the longer you play, the more you need to spend real world dollars to get anywhere. Currently, my next 9x9 plot of land (which will only hold one field, orchard, or pen of livestock) will cost $262 real world dollars to purchase enough in game gold to purchase the plot OR 47 million in-game earned dollars which can take upwards of 3-4 months of grinding to earn... and then there won’t be any currency to buy the needed building, field, etc. without the required buildings, etc., you cannot produce the items needed to sell and progress in the game. If everyone in my co-op bought one 9x9 plot of land at $262 real world dollars, that is $7,860 real world dollars not withstanding what the developers are making off of the ads players must watch in lieu of produce sales contracts. It seems like the developers, instead of fixing glitches and crashes continue to add more and more expensive Road blocks that serve no purpose but to add dollars to their bottom line. If you want to play, welcome aboard, but just be warned that it’s real world expensive and the in-game currency conversions get to the point where you aren’t earning enough to not have to use real world currency. Devs, you need to re-think the fine line between profitable and out-right extortion.

Yeh but no
I enjoy the game and have been playing everyday for 60+ days but in the last few days, I can’t even open it without a glitch sometimes! Whether is having to watch an add to get something or just travelling between farms, either during or after the add the whole game just closes down! So frustrating, especially when you’ve waited 11 hours for some cherries to complete an order! Not enough wood or nails in the contracts either, same With paint in the candy farm.
Love the game and would hate to delete but might have to if it’s not even going to open for me 😔🤷♀️

Unauthorized Glitch Charges
I had played the game for well over a year. Had spent a fair amount of real money. Bought a blue season pass and got double charged. This should not have been possible. Once you buy a season pass the option to buy it is no longer there or should not be anyway. I immediately contacted Apple Pay and stopped one of the two charges not both. Goodgame studios banned my account for this. It was a glitch of their own system that caused me to pay $20 for some thing that was only 10. Now they want their other $10 back and they have banned in my account. They tell me I need to pre-pay the $9.99 to get my account back. I would suggest not spending real money as these glitch charges seem to be a regular event. They push and push or things that need real money to level up with. The game is a money grab in more ways than one.

Game is unstable & not enjoyable
Save your money, and don’t play the game. Periodt.
The game is absolutely becoming less enjoyable the more you play it because you constantly run into these issues over and over and over again. Paid a good amount, so you’d think the amount people have paid for this game to progress, would help them utilize and optimize the game better without constant reconnecting. Ads would get bugged out, unable to watch ads, constant freezing on load-up screen whenever they change a tiny deal. Game itself is enjoyable but there are more issues you can count, more than you count the reasons to enjoy or like this game. They refuse to acknowledge these issues and are so slow with developing a solution or resolve. Let alone, they work on a steam game & it’s like, why make a steam game when you still got work to do on the mobile game. Company is garbage.

Great game for the long haul.
Are you up for the task? Real Farming isn’t easy. You gotta work every day to be successful at it. You start small, and you build gradually to a large successful Farm. Nothing happen quickly and you have to upgrade wisely. It is the same with this game, the only difference is that here you have a community you can join where others will help you grow, while you help them.
I started a year and a half ago and I’m still level 83. It’s OK. I’m in it for the long term for a particular goal in mind. You can expedite some things if you use cash, but it isn’t necessary if you’re willing to be patient.
I throughly enjoy it. Some of the side internal games are challenging too. Great game, love it.
Update: Finally made it to level 95. The game gets tougher as you move up in levels, but it’s still an adventure.

Well it could be better
The game is ok but it’s like when you get to level nine you can’t get to level ten and it’s really frustrating but other then that it’s fun. I play it with my sisters and have some fun and I have managed to get past level nine. I’m on level 12 and it can be better but the game is fun and I like a lot apart from the challenges you get given. It’s like when you achieved your challenge there’s another. I do recommend this game for all ages and you can slowly work on you farm.

Somewhat fun.
Not sure yet if I’m a fan. Like most games many things take long time to get such as some plantings, building homes and barn yard buildings. So you can only play the game for a short time and then wait. Unless you want to pay which I prefer not too.
Also to upgrade items where you need gold. The amount of gold needed is to high to be able to purchase. Also when feeding dog you can watch a video to double the reward but that function has not worked for about 2 weeks. This also happens occasionally when you sell products.
I haven’t figured out the side locations to be able to play that part. For example in the first one you needed to get herring to be able to prepare item. Could not figure out how to do that.
And not much help is available for those functions.

Well it WAS good
Big Farm is a really cute, slow-paced game, and that’s what I was looking for when I first started playing. It’s enjoyable up until level 60+ when you start needing a ton of in-game currency and resources to progress. The game gets monotonous as you work to build up those resources (read: it takes months); even though their are lots of opportunities to win resources, they don’t provide a meaningful amount to accumulate quickly. There are also multiple upgrades that require the same resources, but the opportunities to acquire the resources don’t increase, nor do the rewards increase. Basically, the game became work. They have also recently added more ads to the game and it’s no longer fun to play. I can’t hardly do anything in the game without having to sit through an ad. Going to wave goodbye to my coop and uninstall.

Great up to a point !
When I first started playing the game was really fun, but then you get to the point where you have a bit of land some decorations and your earning some money, but then you try to buy some land but no you can’t because you don’t have enough land, you want to grow crops or make something to sell, but no you need gold. Basically after about a week you can’t do anything unless you buy gold, meaning you have to spend your own money to get gold. Sorry at that point I stopped playing. RIP off 😡😡

Quit half baked updates!!!!
I am a big farm player along with my husband and son. We play daily! These updates literally kill the fun! They are half baked, breaks more than it fixes. When this update happened, not to mention it didn’t fix any of the issues with game chat reliability, we have my sons farm completely wiped out and can’t restore after working up to level 38. Right after I put a ticket in for this one, my husbands account is banned!! Seriously big farm? On coop week you guys roll these updates and every time it does more harm than good! Now coop suffers! Fix the game and answer the tickets, restoring our family’s accounts. We have invested far too much into them including in game purchases!
