  • Touch screen problems

Every Time I Go Into This App The Touch Screen Doesn’t Work! I tried using the application in 3 Different devices And In all of the Devices the Touch Wouldn’t Work! But As Soon As I Go Back To home Screen or on any other application, The Touch Would Be Perfectly Fine! And That made me unable to use the application

  • Very well made app.

    Such a well made app.
    Brilliant interface.
    .
I would like a parent option to keep the content locked down like it is at the start.
I really like how it makes the child build the basic car first and go through the basics of programming before the rest of the app unlocks.
I want more of that, with more achievement stars and sounds.

Hello! Thank you for the feedback. It is great to hear that you like the app. Of course, I will forward your suggestion directly to our team who is in charge of it because they are continuously working on new features. Greetings Lisa
  • LEGO fun!

I think people who are patient and don’t know what to do on a rainy day will enjoy piecing together the blocks of LEGO and once it’s finished they will be very pleased with themselves.

  • Awesome!!!

Hard but fun! I really had fun building the first stage of Frankie the cat and I am very interested in finding out how the command brick used for one of Frankie’s ears collects the data from the iPad I use and how it moves everything.
  • Good app, fun activity for kids, but bad rules

I had to reinstall the app and it forced me to do everything over from the beginning even though my son and I had already done half of the projects. Bad design and lame.
  • Even More Fun Than Expected!

The entire experience from unboxing to building and programming phases along the way has been a joy. This is the perfect introduction to coding and a fun building partner experience that can provide endless hours of fun beyond the build. Enjoy!

Hopefully LEGO will continue to develop more sets and activities for the Boost line!

  • I want to love this, but the app will not work.

I got the LEGO Boost system for my son for Christmas. I have downloaded this app on 3 different iPads. All of which have up to date operating systems. The app will not move past the opening screen. I have emailed the LEGO Boost customer service department. After several days I finally got a response. I emailed back all the answers to the questions. Here we are a month after Christmas, customer service has not helped me with the issue, and my son is disappointed with what should have been an awesome toy.

  • Great toy for kids to learn programming

Great app and set with impressive software integration.

Lego Boost contains bricks to build ’robots’, a microcontroller for motor and light sensor control, and this app for very easy event-driven programming using a fully graphical programming environment. For my seven-year-old son, it was very simple and fun to start programming with Boost.

  • Mysterious icons

I like the Lego Boost Concept and much of it works well but many of the programming icons are mysterious. Their design often give very little clue as to what will be the result and even after trying them I am often clueless about how the action I have just witnessed relates to the graphics on the icon. Perhaps I’m a bit stupid, but I’ve searched the web for an 'explainer' of the programming icons and, so far, found nothing.

The icons are definitely mysterious and a lot of people are wondering why we chose to do this. It was done to encourage kids to be intuitive and cater to a child's natural inquisitive nature. For builders or their parents who want a little assistance understanding the different coding blocks we have created a document that explains some of these. You can find them here https://www.lego.com/en-us/service/help/products/electronics-robotics/boost/guide-to-lego-boost-programming-blocks-408100000009897
