Ads make it impossible to use
With all the ads you can barely accomplish anything without a 20 second ad popping up. What a waste…. I would be happy to pay for a useful version of this but the app itself isn’t even that good …not worth $7.99.CakeDr

I really like the thought process behind this. As someone who has a job visualising things this is perfect to see how my cakes are going to look and it’s really simple to use. HOWEVER, the decorations are VERY limited. The subscription is also very expensive at 7.49 a week (unless you want to stump up over £90 for the year!). I would pay a subscription for this happily but only if the price was a LOT lower and there were more design/decoration options. At the moment you are paying an extortionate price for very little options for cake design.Show lessLynswin

first of all why are the pictures in the app store portait when the app is landscape? makes no sense, second of all i don’t want to do a tutorial but since its mandatory i went through it and got up to the point they want you to change the color of the rose and i couldnt for the life of me select the rose!!! i reloaded the app 4 times and no matter where i put the rose i couldnt select it, so frustrating when i just want to design one cake for my bakery to show them what i want, fix this pleaseShow lessultrons bffs

Can’t get past the 3 stage of the tutorial- gets frozen every time have tried it about 10 times so really don’t know if it is worth it if it did work.JennB30

I was reading the reviews and one of them said that everything you clicked on did not work I’m not sure but it might be because you had to drag the items onto the cake instead of just clicking them. It’s a really good app and I would definitely recommend this to everyone, they have fixed a lot of the problems you complained about and it really helps me to view my cakes. I would really recommend getting the subscription because it is a very cheap price to pay for all the amazing cake decor.Show lessCube surf master

Terrible usability
I would have been happy to pay a subscription to a well designed, useful cake designer tool.
However I’m glad I only got the free trial for this - because this app is so hard to use! I could not for the life of me get this to function easily. I will continue to use photoshop I think!bekand1

We agree that the usability of the app is still far from perfect and we are currently working on an update to re-work the move and rotate features among other things. It is extremely hard to move, color, and adjust objects. The cakes don’t automatically save, but they should, I don’t want to have to save a cake every time I make one. It is really hard to pick up objects. You should be able to move any objects with your finger, but instead you have to use controls. I would never recommend this app, it is terrible. Also, you can barely use anything without paying for it.Show lessMadelyn524

Hi Madelyn, We're sorry to hear you don't like the app! We are working on automatic saving functionality and will have that in a future version. We're also working on improving movement of decorations etc. but I'm afraid we can't avoid using the controls. Lastly we are also adding more free content in our next update for our users who don't prefer to subscribe.
