  • FRUSTRATING! Next to Worthless.

The actual device works fine, I guess, but the app is next to worthless. We have two of the hardware pieces for our Peloton bike and they sync up with that consistently but when I want to go out for a run 9 times out of 10* it won’t sync up. I’ve even had both devices on both arms beeping away, synced to my iPhone, restarted the app, restarted the phone, looked in vain for an update, all to no avail. IT’S THE COMPANY’S OWN APP! Not some third party! C’mon guys!

*I never know if it’s going to work, sometimes it will catch and start and then drop off. Aaarghh!!!

  • Junk

Horrible. I can’t track calories and it’s not recording my workouts. Also can’t seem to find a way to update this app but it reminds me daily that there is an update. So frustrated I wasted my money on this heart rate monitor!
  • App not working

The device works with my peloton screens but the app does not work at all since upgrading software. The screen is stuck at can’t find monitors. Such a shame.
  • Can’t find my device

Brand new Rhythm+. Bluetooth synced with phone. App can not find my device so that I can even check for any firmware updates. Actual HRM appears to work with other devices and phone, just not this app designed for their own product.
  • I love the idea, but this is crap

I really wanted the Rythmn to work mostly because I wanted an optical that could do HR and HRV, but I haven’t been able to use this one time. The fact that you have to use the app to switch between HR and HRV working be so bad if the app could keep tabs on the monitor. I tried setting it up through the app, but the moment I connect the monitor to anything else the app stops seeing it. Won’t search. For some reason, my iPhone won’t “forget” the monitor. So, other apps can see it when the Scosche app doesn’t, but the other apps can’t use it (HRV app and running app). I contacted Scosche and got a somewhat “listen stupid” response. I asked if the problems I had were normal or perhaps a bad sensor (so I knew if I should return it while I could), but no help. I’m sending it back.

  • Good

I used it to update the firmware and to see what the battery level is so does everything I need. For actual HR monitoring I connect it to my watch
  • App is rubbish

Tricky to connect even when iPhone connects immediately. Finally when you do connect to the app it loses the connection whilst you exercise. The App is useless. Not acceptable when hardware is so expensive. Hope others speak frankly too.
  • Crap app

Bought the HR monitor app says needs update. Update failed says to drain battery. Did this fails again. Got a replacement and getting the exact same issue. Crappy app, crappy product, crappy customer support. Stay away from this product by all means necessary.
  • Can’t even find my device when other apps can.

    Title say it all.
  • Runner

    Unit works great !!
