Utter garbage

Buggy, slow and doesn’t always work.
And before anybody asks - fully patched, up to date is etc etc

Just got my everykey

Seems like this whole thing is tied to an app that won’t load. Will spend a bit more time trying then getting my money back. Shame

Hey StefaneLTrudel, we spent a lot of time over the past year fixing reliability issues like this. We realize you mentioned you might try to return Everykey. If you have not yet done so, did you have a chance to try the latest version of the app? Let us know what your current experience is like!

Useless

Constantly crashes. Displays Everykey as having -19% charge. Can’t retrieve passwords from vault. Totally unusable let alone as a security app you trust your secrets to.

Garbage!!

Zero stars fits better for EK!! App crashes all the time! I do not see the advanced settings when I open the app? There is zero security if someone opens your phone and starts up the EK app!! No finger print technology, password protect for the app...the apps user interface is like a 5 year old designed it!! I bought this off the ad on Facebook and it is not anything like it says in the video! Thanks for taking advantage of hard working people with your scam EK!!

Nice Try

I was very excited to see this product advertised in a tech catalog. I did some research on your website and then bought 2 units. I have to say that the product barely works on any device. It does not unlock my phone or anything else as advertised and it’s very cumbersome to log into a web page. The iPhone saved login and password program works a lot better, faster and without any hardware. The app crashes continually and you have you reset it almost every time you return to it from a failed web log in. I will be returning both for refunds.

Right out of the box

The fob was dead right out the box. The app crashes at first pair...crashed as it was finishing second pairing...and crashed as I was trying to add passwords. And yes I have the most up to date app and firmware. I was so excited about this tech. I thought how futuristic and helpful it be. Now I’m just already sad to have it.

Do NOT buy this...

When I saw the ad for it, I was intrigued.
Unfortunately, reality is much different than John’s hype. Nothing works like it says it supposed to; when I try to log into it with my phone app, it shuts it back down; and there are no instructions ANYWHERE on the site on how to use it. With today’s technology, they need to have very easy video instructions as well as PDF downloads for a user.
I’d like to figure how to get my $65 back, but nowhere on their site is there the ability to do that.
Honestly knowing John’s sketchy background, I should’ve known better. It’s like he figured out it quick and easy way to get money, but had nobody figured out how to provide support for the product!

Complete and utter garbage

I've been playing with this for 60 minutes and I have yet to get a single password to work. Here is my review:

- your app is completely buggy. Crashes on almost every action. I've had to setup my account about a dozen times before it got through without crashing. Blank security question? Crash. Add a password? Crash. Retrieve a password? Crash. You get the idea. Each time it crashes, you have to sign up all over again.
- the key itself feels very cheap and fragile. The microusb port is rectangular instead of trapezoidal, so it's hard to determine cable orientation. Why not USB C?
- I can't add passwords to the key. It looks like it's accepting the password, then it doesn't. Or it crashes.
- the safari extension has two issues: first, it has a blank icon. Second, the UI is a blank screen with no text at all. It's as if the programmer just quit halfway through Xcode training.

At this point I've wasted 60 minutes trying to get basic functionality working.

I think Everykey spent more money on marketing and designing their logo than they did on engineering and basic functionality. How did this pass QA testing?

Doesn’t work

so, I just received my Everykey today. I’ve installed it on my laptop, my phone and on my iPad. What I’ve found is that, while it not only doesn’t work as is presented in the video, it doesn’t work at all.

The Bluetooth connection cannot be maintained between my various devices and the everykey meaning I have to go through the pairing process each time I want to use it.

This is a drastic departure from what is shown in the videos.

And while my computer, a MacBook Pro can connect to it when it is directly connected via a usb cable, it can’t make a Bluetooth connection that can be maintained by the device.

This device seems like an interesting idea, but is nowhere near ready for the market at this point. The developers simply don’t seem to know enough about what they’re doing to have created something that functions as advertised. Makes me wish I could get my money back.

If you’re thinking of spending the money, stop. Check to see if there are other devices in the marketplace that are perhaps further along in their development process than Everykey. This one is a dud and most definitely not worth the money, even at half price.

Terrible

My IphoneX Bluetooth wont find the key, they don’t communicate, don’t pair up.
The software ask me every time to enter the email address and ask me to choose safety questions and in the middle it closes down, have to start all over.
Finally finished but still don’t see Everykey even thou it bleeps blue ....
It’s not what I expected. No number to call , they just took the money.
Frustrating,bad
