  • Awesome Game!

Smashing Four is a blast to play, it requires strategy and time. The gameplay is smooth and the consistent updates show that the developers care. The only feature that really holds me back from giving this game a 5 star rating is the difficulty in earning epic cards. Epic cards are the rarest and most powerful, but are so difficult to earn that progressing them past level 3 becomes an extreme challenge without micro transactions. If there was a way the developers could resolve this, whether it be a epic Sunday where clan members can donate epic cards amongst eachother or a more often drop rate of epic orbs with less epic cards the game would be much more enjoyable. Hopefully a new feature similar to this will be added in the future, until then I’ll continue to play the game with out the use of Epic cards.

  • Worth a download - plenty of good, abit of bad

I’ve been playing the game for a few hours and have enjoyed it greatly. Infact, the only disappointment I’ve had so far was going on a 4 game losing streak ... very frustrating but I am rubbish!
I read a review describing the game as ‘Clash Royale meets pool’ ... That’s very close but I’d say it was ‘Clash Royale meets pinball’.
It’s early days for me but I fear that, like Clash Royale, there will be a lot of emphasis on gems/gold - the quantity of which would take years to save or need to be bought.
Equally like Clash Royale there is a limited number of Chests you can have and can only open 1 at a time, with a minimum of 3hrs waiting for not a lot.
The gameplay is good though. There are elements of luck but also tactics with each troop having a special ability to utilise. Each arena offers something different to use in the battle as you progress.

In summary - if you’ve played Clash Royale this will feel extremely familiar. Battles are easy to understand and very enjoyable but I think it’s going to take some real money or a lot of time to keep progressing.

  • Great game

I’m really enjoying this! I do have some feedback though. The description of the Berserker says that he’s “schizophrenic”. It’s really insensitive to people with mental illness and should be changed. That was the only reason I didn’t give you 5 stars.

Also... if you limited the number of times you can use a character without a cooldown, we’d be forced to try new combinations, which would be interesting. At the moment I just have one Team that I use all the time.

  • Great idea but lots of bugs to iron out

Love the format, but soooo buggy!!!!!!

Also need more slots for orbs, 3 is definitely not enough
  • Loved the game but it’s pretty bugged out

I loved the gameplay and all, the mix of a battle Royale plus small animated characters to shoot around with, but what’s up with the connection? Almost every time I play it, after the 5th battle or so it disconnects me. In the middle of the battle, it seems the opponent runs his or her timer out, and when the 0 hits, it’s frozen. After a minute, the “you can’t connect to the server, please check you connection” box pops up on the loading screen. The bar stays at around 70. I checked my WiFi and every other game and device works fine. Maybe check this bug out guys? It’s really “bugging me.” Edit: another thing is when I log out of the game and try to go back in, it says that I can’t start the game? Please try again in a few moments? I did spend an hour and 50 percent of my battery trying to figure it out and still no solution. Help please?

  • Fantastic game

Think, clash royale meets pool. It has a similar character system and levelling system to clash royale, but the gameplay is different. Pay attention to each characters special ability, and use it to your advantage for devastating effects. I feel gems are a little overpriced, but not too much so. I’m looking forward to see if they hold any clan events in the future.

Give it a download, worst that can happen is that you waste 5 minutes.

  • Clone But Fun

This Game Is Fun And Addicting! But it feels like a clone of super cell game Smash Land that was taken off the App Store a couple years back. Also the whole clan, card system feels like it’s from clash Royale.... Other than that it’s a awesome game and can’t wait for more characters to come out and try!!!

  • Good but issues

The game itself is good, mechanics and whatnot are all very good. You can join clans which helps I guess with everyone working towards being No.1

Bad points though I’ve found far out way the good, regardless of whether you think this is just a disgruntled player that can’t stand losing I assure you it’s not.

Trophies won for an epic win is great until you lose and learn you lose more trophies, what’s the point of this? I earn 29 to lose 32 next game???

As all games with the beloved micro transactions you only ever get superior at these games by buying your way up, more expensive orbs mean better cards at a faster rate, more coins leads to faster upgrades. This all boils down to if you pay you win, if you try and do it free you’ll inevitably lose more than you gain.

There’s tactics as with every game in this genre but you cannot Ignore the factor of having a character that is just miles better, and these characters if your lucky you’ll gain through sheer determination of playing hours and hours or you’ll come across someone who’s paid their way to great cards and will win at a canter.

In conclusion a good game, ruined by the ability of paying to win.

  • Smashing Four

FUN is definitely in this game
  • A Few Problems and Suggestions

I’ve been playing this for about two months and it has been amazing. The game is all about strategy so you do not have to spend money on the game to get good. The constant updates are very helpful and keep the game fun and interesting. A problem I have is I would accidentally click the battle button and the cancel button would not work. I also believe that there should be more of a reward for winning, as other reviews have stated, so that the game can be more interesting. Another character that could be added is someone who would drop a trap each time they are hit by an enemy. An example of a reward for winning a battle would be a few cards instantly. Thank you.
