Don’t buy cards
Don’t bother buying cards to upgrade your favourite hero. They’ll eventually nerf that hero and you would’ve wasted your money. And after the nerf they’ll tell you that you still have all your cards so you have lost nothing. They don’t care that you actually spent real money.Maxamusau66
Beware of Ads
Game is great. Ads are 18+ though, so even though your kids are playing a 12+ game, some ads are VERY mature.didfghhh
Stopped working …
Last few times it kept flashing up the WIFI signal and now can’t get past the load page. Shame, I liked this one…Flamabletom

Pay to Win
Started as a very fun game but it quickly becomes a pay to win. Matched up 5+ games in a row with with players that are 5 levels higher than me. I was bored one day and started playing again to see what’s new. Now I remember why I quit in the first place, the frustration of matchmaking.BubbleBobblez

Warning for those starting to play: DO NOT SPEND MONEY.
Geewa / Smashing Four has all but ghosted the support communities they’ve setup on Discord and Reddit. Rumors of developers leaving, changes in ownership or direction, or really who cares, other than the game is limping along. The support chat is no longer responding, I currently can’t get a match to load, and the responses from the communities (Reddit, Discord) are looking dismal. This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t play, but until things improve, I’m not confident that this game will be around and that YOU as a player will get what you want out of spending money. You’ll notice that the load screen is still stuck in Fall. While I understand general weather changes and is different around the world, historically we’ve seen a Fall, Winter, Spring type of schedule. There are 100s/1000s of inactive account now as well. My clan, recently inherited, is “Open” and has 40/50 members. We’ve had 2 new people join in the last 2 months (terrible) and more than 50% is inactive already. The Truth
Having played the game for several years I can confirm that the developers have taken a very bad route with the game in order to encourage pay to play. You’ll progress at an extremely slow rate unless you at minimum get the season pass. But in order to not get swamped by unfair team match making you’ll have to pay considerably more. This would be semi acceptable if there was a max level for characters ( so in theory once you’ve maxed a team you’ll not have to worry about facing much higher levels ) you’ll come to realise the devs routinely increase the “Max level “ meaning you’ll never escape the unfair match making forcing you to either play through pain staking matches you know you have no chance against or surrender. I attempted to speak to devs several times being a long time player and find they fob you off with how they’ve made lower level characters better to even if up etc, truth of it is you’ll be pushed towards paying to speed you the process of unfair match making. Game has got good quality’s but take it from a long term player who’s spilling the beans before quitting .Show lessNot impressed11111111
Same thing as any other mobile game…PTW
The first 5-10 games make the game enjoyable. But once you make it to the higher arenas, you’re matchmaked against higher level players and more powerful characters. The only way for you to stand a chance is through PTW aka Pay To Win.
So many mobile games are doing this and it’s ruining the experience and truly gives mobile games a bad name. The most popular mobile games seem to act exactly like this game and it just makes me think that Mobile Game developers only care about money.
If you’re young or naive, don’t EVER spend money on mobile games. It’s more worth it to spend your money on games for console or PC.Show lessTTV I_am_Hades_
