  • Unbalanced

The game was fun to start but as you level you frequently are matched against much higher or lower opponents. The game has also become a significant grind as regular updates have reduced the rewards for winning mini games with higher costs to play them. This is now at the point of looking to need to take years to level the game.

  • Better than you'd think

I was a little skeptical when seeing ads for this, seeing most mobile game ads nowadays are faked. This was entirely truthful to its ads and then some. The gameplay is surprisingly more strategic than you would think for a mobile game. The mechanics for upgrading your fighters are a little slow to start, but it gets better as you do level.

There is a pay-to-win aspect of it, but since there's matchmaking, balancing, and drawbacks to even the toughest characters, it's negligible at best and provides only a small, if much of any, advantage to players. You need to be clever to use what you paid for wisely, which for a game like this is a huge plus.

One issue I have is the lack of an offline singleplayer; you must have an internet connection for the game to load at all. Being able to have an offline singleplayer mode, such as repurposing training to be such, can not only increase the skill level for the game, but make it more accessible to those who may not always have a wifi or data connection.

It's a really good game all around, though, with little I can complain about. It starts a little slowly, but does still steadily progress and nothing is 100% locked behind a paywall.

  • Amazing game

It is pay to win game but also allows you to farm stuff instead of buying. You can slowly rank up or buy your way. Mostly it’s skill based game not entirely pay to win.
  • Great game!!!!!!! Recommend you download it

When got this game I was like ugh boring but a thew minutes later I started loving it and I joined a clan and someone gave me really good heroes then I was like I bet there has to be some bugs, right?

A month later after playing animal Warfare a lot the game kept crashing,

But in this game it hasn’t happened and also I haven’t had any other bugs I really recommend you downloading this

  • Fun

This game is fun! occasionally there’s bugs which make the matchmaking not so good. I was enjoying the game until my account disappeared, tried to contact the support team for recovery but I haven’t heard anything since. Sent them all the details needed. RIP my trophies.
  • Updates aren’t always good

I’ve been playing this game way longer than any other game on my phone. I really enjoyed the weekly challenges that pushed you to use different characters regularly as well as gave you more orbs from which to hopefully level up.

But then you changed it. A daily quest and that’s it. So I pretty much log on to compete the daily and that is it. There isn’t a reason to log in regularly which is a shame as the game is quite enjoyable, relying on some level of skill.

Yes matchmaking is at times broken, but that’s ok as I only get a few high level opponents before it balances out again.

So I suggest make more regular players happy again and bring back the 10 stage 3/4 day quest and orbs instead of the daily.

  • Smashing 4 review

Smashing 4 is a fantastic game in its own way there is strategy and cool character's to select over all its very good but it has some minor setbacks for example the adds are very long the skip add buttons are very small so you end up pressing on the game and it takes you to the App Store which is VERY annoying but apart from that it’s good enough (the clans also need better use because you join a clan they kick you almost instantly it takes you over hours to find a good one) so it will still be playing and would suggest you try it!!!

  • Pay to win

This game at first is very fun. They start you off getting cards that make you grow in power very quickly. Once you hit about 1000 trophies (which you earn from winning matches) you hit a wall unless you’re willing to spend real money to continue to progress. I refuse to spend actual money in the store so therefore I’ve been stuck at the same level for about a week now and I haven’t won a match in 3 days. So the pay to win factor is becoming a very frustrating obstacle. If it wasn’t for the obvious pay to win issues, this game would be way better. The concept is fun and when you can actually compete with your opponents it’s quite entertaining, but when you continuously are matched against people who are buying into the play to win tactics and have these rare and epic fighters at high levels, you don’t stand a chance and you find yourself spending time on the game less and less.

  • Brilliant game!

This is such a good game for such a simple concept! Really well put together and very addictive. Frustrating at times when the weighting feels off but constant updates try to combat this. The community seems positive as well compared to some others which are a bit toxic.

One suggestion would be in practice arena: to be able to pick the level of opponent characters. If you’re trying out a new squad to see if you want to invest in a character. You have to get them to a high level before you can really assess them. Dropping your opposition level to match would help. Or even like challenges, standardising the level would help.

  • Weird progression

I started yesterday, and quickly went on a double digit win streak. The mechanics of the game are fun and simple, but now I’m already on phase 4 and I only have a handful of cards barely unlocking their level 4 ability and I’m being outclassed so hard. Now the only way to get back to my card skill level is to lose a bunch of times in a row (which I’m doing) but it’s definitely not fun and makes me want to quit.

This may end up being a game I play only once every several hours to open an orb to see if I’m good enough to play again. That is if I end up playing again at all, because I haven’t gotten a new orb yet today in 5 games. 3 stars, there should be a “balance mode” where everyone is equal and it comes down only to the skill of your shot not just how much you have invested in your dudes
