Blown my mind
I should have said « Blown my mind, again », since my time in Kings of the Dragon’s Pass I was looking to live in that bronze age world again. Six age did not disappoint, a gloomier and somewhat more human story that now lives rent free in my head and will stay here for a long time.
Best story telling game
Played the 2 other six ages games and this one tops it so far waited for this one to come out bought it instantly can’t wait for the next
Unbelievably good game
Such a good game, first one in ages I’ve played from start to finish. Definitely don’t feel you need to have played the first game… this is better in every way, and is totally playable as a standalone game.
SO well written, SO engaging. Decisions that matter, no take backs. I wish I could delete my memory of the game and start again. Play it, you’re in for a treat.

Seriously addicting
I find myself spending majority of my free time playing this game and I don't know wether I like it or not. It is immensely fun, challenging, sad, funny and frustrating. It will take you for a ride on an emotional roller coaster and leave you unable to put down your phone for hours
Can’t keep food
Nothing near as good as the earlier iterations. Even on the easiest setting you spend every round trying to feed your people. It has gotten so boring that I won’t finish it. I spent probably 100 rounds figuring out Six Ages 1 and loved it. I’ve already done about 100 attempts at this one and every possible combination but no matter which course you take your people starve. Don’t recommend.

Excellent entry in a promising series
Epic story of hope and fortitude in the face of impeding doom. Follows the classic King of Dragon Pass in terms of gameplay - a mix of strategy, role-playing, and roguelike. Allows imports of saves from Six Ages 1, in case you want to continue from there. High replay value. Perfect for iOS. Overall highly recommended.

A nice ending to King of Dragon Pass Series
I’m a huge fan of King of Dragon Pass, the first edition of this series. It has an immersive world and many pathways to take.
The Six Ages are a nice revisit to this world. Their story arc is much tighter and they are not as replayable. However if you love the first one, you will enjoy these two as well.
Play King of Dragon Pass first.

An all time great game
This game, the first six ages, and king of dragon pass, are all made by the same group and are some of the best and most unique games I’ve played on any platform. There is no other iPhone game that comes close to the depth these have to offer!
Super addictive, love it
It really is an amazing game. I remember playing the first one and being overwhelmed by the sheer amount of lore of the rich world I suddenly found myself in, but I imagine that’s by design. I think you’ll feel that way whether you play the first one (set in the far future) or the previous one (set a few hundred years in the past, leading to the founding of your kingdom). With time you’ll be immersed and feel at home in a strange world you’ll never learn to really understand but never fails to amaze.
I love having access to a high difficulty, although I wish an even higher one could be unlocked as I always start with the highest and then can’t so easily add an additional challenge. Playing at maximum difficulty, I have found a steep learning curve. I found it exceedingly difficult to avoid a starvation-induced death-spiral without the following trick, which is slightly game-breaking, so read at your own risk:
Explorers don’t seem to have a significantly greater success chance with more supporting fighters. Therefore, I only send expeditions with 2 bows. You’ll need a lot to uncover treasures and, at least as importantly, obtain an excess of food via foraging. Food is exceptionally valuable if sold via caravans, so send several foraging missions a year (having invested in exploration blessings) and trade it away if you have enough. You’ll lose most of your nobles to this, no matter how talented they might be in fighting or how large of an army you send, so keep your elites at home and kill off the rest of your nobility!^^
