Great graphics and game play, but the crates are a joke
The game is terrific - amazing graphics. On par with PC simulators. Some missions are easy, some are seemingly impossible, but all are beautiful. Controls and aircraft handling is generally fairly realistic. Landing, especially carrier landing, is far too easy, but that makes it playable for non-pilots.
The crates are terrible. I’ve opened 75 so far and won ZERO planes. I bought a batch of 100 crates when they were on sale, opened a few, and found that I kept getting rewards I already paid for. I previously bought all guns for all planes and all armor upgrades with real cash money, and the crates I also paid real money for kept giving me guns and armor upgrades. The one single time I got a free plane, it was a plane I already own. So DO NOT BUY CRATES!!!!! Apparently, the system was not designed to lock out rewards and upgrades that you already have.Show lessAngus3753

Hey, thanks for the awesome review! As for our crate system: We have never been happy with the design or presentation of the crate system and are considering replacing it with something else. This game is awesome I have all the XP planes because I did not want to buy gold I only have the SBD five in the TBF because I bought them as a pack I like the fact that you can put on two torpedoes on the wings which is awesome and they’re on the F6F wildcat it can have a torpedo and wingmounted bombs if I remember correct I just wish one thing in the next update if there could be a multiplayer mode because it gets kind of lonely sometimes when you’re fighting down Japs by your self and you have to kill every single one or there was like a mission where you had friends that could actually die with you and destroy enemy targets and I love the game it’s awesome all the way through for second I thought the B 29’s were B-17s but I figure that out and in the last mission with escorting B-29s they can actually die but I always like to crash into my friends and one dies in there till like well he’s goneShow lessre yeet yeet

Great game, had pretty much since the first version ever even came out. Few issues though, like the game freezing when I press the play button, have to exit and reopen, other than that no other problems. I love the amount of planes and the progression system that actually makes the game complete able. I know that you guys put an absolutely unbelievable amount of work into the graphics of the game. They were good when this game first came out but now with the other graphics scutch as alliance air war graphics, then it makes the stuff in this game look kind of old. For example the buildings look pretty boxy. I think a major graphics update would be a game changer for your game. Also lots of fighters, and a few bombers, you NEED to add four engine bombers like the
B-24 because we probably wouldn’t have won the war without them. ( nose art Superman on the b-24 look it up interesting story)

I know people might notice this but many aircraft have gunners, it’s unfair if you have to pay for guns when you can just have AI gunners shoot targets for you instead of being plagued with a bomber with no offensive or defense capability, the SBD Dauntless did have glass in front of the back but the gunner was able to pull back the glass and fire their guns if the plane wasn’t being used for training purposes, the PB5 Catalina also had gunners, they were also able to cover their spots with glass but they had gunners period. Finally the B25 Mitchell finally has visible gunners and guns, Please make it a little bit more cheap so I can afford it, and allow gunners to fire on not the Dauntless and Catalina, but all bombers including the B25.Show lessB17G pilot

It’s great but please add downed subs,planes, and boats in free flight to rescue with Catalina also could you add a thing where you can shoot out of the turrets on b-25, avenger and Catalina and the rest of the turret planes like this at the top turret 1 turret 2 ex so when you click it it switches guns to that turret thank you great game keep it up do not sell it plz last thing in free flight make it where you can parachute or bail out of the plane and create your very own WW2 planeShow lessdscsb
Frustrating not allowed to play
Frustrating app won’t allow you to progress past basic entry levels even after purchasing weapons to do so. Support just contacted me asking for specifics when severs ppl just complained of the same problem spending good money for weapons and planes only to get cheated and receive NOthing in return. So sad because this app has lots of potential but will soon die a swift death like sll the other crap flight sims that hold you back and force you to delete the app. Impossible to kill the armored balloons that refuse to die in entry level even s as fret a 10 buck weapons purchase 🤬Show lessSmithsailing
Another game where cash is king and silver is nothing...
I love flight combat games centered around WWII. This one has some great scenery, but to complete the fourth star of each challenge, you have to purchase an upgrade. So, as I read it, I will be forever a lieutenant flying the training plane. If I were new to this kind of setup, then I would be less jaded. Over time in another app, I probably invested $100 over 3 months to upgrade. You can earn as much silver as you want, but silver is not the coin of the realm. Gold is, and for the most part gold is earned with cash. I will be moving on to another business model.Show lessCover Your Assets
Excellent except for the price gouging
This is a good game. So good that I’d be willing to pay a reasonable amount of money to get all the content and support the developers.
The problem is that to buy all the stuff in the game, you’d need about $100. Even big name AAA console games don’t cost that much. I’m not spending $5 just to unlock one new airplane so I can progress one level, that’s absolute garbage. And $40 to unlock only half the planes?! Seriously?!
There should be an option to purchase everything up front for at most $20. But since the prices are insane I’ll just grind through for free.
-1 star for the ridiculous gougy pricing. Only took off 1 since you legitimately can grind through the game without paying though, I respect that they didn’t actually make it impossible.Show lessagentsteve
Great game but I have suggestions
So far I think this game is truly amazing and I love it and it so much fun but it would be Incredible if you put the flaps button for the SCB dauntless dive bomber and also A cockpit View I think if you did that then the pilot had more realistic features to the game it self and I love that for you developers to put that in to the game oh and also love the realistic kind of things like taking off and lading and adding stale to for the plane and it really makes the flight more realistic and keep doing the good work.Show lessDragontammer
It’s so far a good game
So far I love the game, the mechanics are amazing and the handling is pretty easy, the only two problems I have with this game, the crash physics, I generally love how you can bounce off of practically anything when you hit it, but that’s also the problem, I don’t like how when you die you just catch fire and fall to your doom, to either bounce off the water or solid ground like your plane weights absolutely nothing, so if you could, please and some crash physics or Destructible parts? The second problem I have isn’t really a problem, it’s more of can you add a working tail gunner and working blister turret for both B-25’s? Thanks. Also! I figured out that if you go from full throttle and down to idle a few times on the C-47 skytrain that the left prop will just stop moving all together, it makes for a Hilarious flight when you fly through a lot of AA fire with only one engine working, anyways, overall the games amazing and the planes are as good as they can get.
