I'm sorry for the inconvenience. In the new version, we have optimized the lag issues, added a switch to revert to the old version, and supported more speed switching options. You can update to the latest version to experience these improvements.

Extremely expensive

Gotta pay over 1$ per manga chapter. Everything is ridiculously overpriced. Just look up free chapters online

Thank you for the update. I honestly prefer the old voice, so having the choice to switch back is great. It also fixed the issue of the app closing when listening in the background that appeared with the new update.

Newest update broke text to speech

Text to speech freezes constantly only unfreezing if you turn it off then back on and usually it only lasts a few sentences at most only saying a couple words before it stops working again

Hello, we have added an option to return to the old version on the TTS page. You can switch back to the previous audio feature using the toggle.

Line almost everything about the app other than the new update for the audio reading it shout go back to the robot lady

It was good before no complain but sudden update then First lost all the points and started from the beginning from lv14 to now on lv4 and now no preview no novel just new novel and comic..are you kidding me..too disappointed

What happened to the tts

So I’ve used this app forever I can likely go over the downhill and just greedy paywall that has occurred on this app over the years. Just know it’s now an expensive app the poorly pays it novelists with the amount for unlocks on chapters. Now I still use the app cause I do find stories I enjoy and want to read/listen to. Which bring me here. I really enjoyed using the tts part of the app as I can listen to novels while I work on art. Today it updated and the tts is now unfamiliar doesn’t say word right and has the phrased limited time free at the top which means this feature is soon going to require payment for use. What was wrong with the old version? Nothing. It used my actual phones tss voices and was perfectly manageable and rarely mispronounced words. Now I have unfamiliar voices and I can’t even change to my preferred tss voice that’s on my phone. They’ve taken my ability to use and choose how I listen to these novels. Also a tts shouldn’t be a paywall, it should be freely available for the use of vision impaired people. If I have to pay for this poorly executed new tts I didn’t ask for in the future you can bet I’m not going to be using this app as much. I have other ways that I can use to listen to novels or writing for free without this gargantuan paywall. I feel for the novelists I do enjoy reading/listening to their works on this platform as they will then loose a lot of support.
