Buggy App
If PokerGO wants to hinder the growth of live poker for their own monetary benefit, and charge more for a subscription then literally every single subscription viewing service, then they should make sure their app is functional and doesn’t require someone to load it countless times without getting a black screen and lagging video play. Poker Go has no soul
So many features missing. So much WSOP content missing. Helmuths record setting WSOP victory wasn’t even broadcast. That’s like a hockey network not broadcasting the Stanley Cup. Embarrassing. Too busy self promoting recycled concepts for gimmicky shows. WSOP is far from what it use to be. Watching a generic single table for 6-8 hours as oppose to the great entertainment of stars and amateurs of the past is no comparison. Other shows feel recycled with no passion or heart. App is Terrible
Content is excellent, and on your TV it works great. However, I’ve never used a worse streaming app on my phone/iPad ever. It freezes constantly, goes black while audio still plays, you can’t scrub through and it is virtually unusable. It’s unfortunate. This is my second year with Poker Go and I will not be renewing if this doesn’t improve. Hopefully someone is paying attention to these reviews, there’s obviously a way to improve an app as hundreds of others have it down correct. Awesome but….
This app is easily the best place to watch poker. Hands-down, top-notch coverage of all the WSOP and other tournaments. The app itself works fairly well, pretty easy to use and the interface is not bad at all. Watching all the mix games really helps my play and it’s just fun overall. being able to see all the cards and get that information really helps my game. Thank you for that!
One major problem with the WSOP streams is that the commentators are constantly spoiling the other tournaments that I haven’t watched yet. For example, they’re telling me who won “The millionaire maker”when I haven’t even watched that final table yet. It’s like telling me who dies in episode five of a TV show in episode one. So other than the spoilers, which is to me a huge, huge no-no for somebody who watches all these streams, this is a great app. The best. I understand that it’s exciting to go to other tourneys to check in on what’s going on but to spoil a whole tournament stream by announcing winners? Not sure about that strategy. Impossible to use
App is buggy to the point it is unusable. Video feed freezes frequently despite the audio continuing on. The next video automatically playing is all buggily coded, so I just get jumped from episode to episode if I try to watch something I’ve opened or watched before. The audio gets further off sync from video as you watch. This is honestly the worst streaming service I’ve ever had. It’s too bad, every year or so I try to give PokerGO another chance because I want the poker content, but it is continuously just unusable buggy and bad, to the point the best quality content in the world can’t make up for dealing with the interface. Great content but app is buggy and unusable!
PokerGO has been a breath of fresh air in the new and vintage streaming content it’s made available. However, just a few days after purchasing their monthly subscription, I’ve been unable to watch any content on their app because of a video bug on the app.
I’m on the iPhone Pro 14 Max and whenever I click on an available episode, I’m forwarded to a blank black screen I can’t interact with. I’ve had this issue for over a week now and can’t access any of the content I paid for. Pretty disappointing.Show lessephemeral_____
Great app full of great content - however.
The optimisation is quite meh. For a high budget team (I’m sure.) the app is very robotic & clunky. There are some issues with stream feed back on my AppleTV App also in which the screen just decides to go black.
But. As a Poker fan, it’s solid.Ahehshshhaha
Poker enthusiasts will love this
From your favorite players to high stakes phenoms. I love the real time content and have been riveted for hours. Definitely recommend more than entertaining, it will have you thinking more critically about your game.buttbro45
