  • Hilariously Bad - just use a Snapchat filter

Hilarious. This app has absolutely no idea how makeup works. When it adds makeup it’s closer to a clown face rather than what most women would put on their faces. When it removes makeup it doesn’t really know how to distinguish what is natural face colouring and which is makeup.
    What a laugh though.

Also Snapchat does it better just FYI

  • Sorry guys, doesn't work.

So I used this and it removed my eyebrows and facial piercings but left the eyeliner on. It also made my cheeks ridiculously red, I assume because I don't wear foundation or blusher or anything. It made my face grey and it was like it sharpened the picture. I only wear eyeliner and it kept that on, and messed up the rest of my face. So then I used a photo from Halloween where I had a full face of makeup and it did exactly the same thing again. Left most of the makeup and took out my eyebrows and piercings, and made my face grey and red. So sorry guys, I don't think this will work for your tinder surfing.

  • Ehh

1 star for creativity, 1 star for easiness to use. Can’t give another star due to the fact that I frequently take no make up photos for before and after purposes. When I uploaded one of those photos, the no makeup filter made me look super bad. Granted it’s just an app just a reminder it’s not 100% realistic so if you’re gonna base your judgement of a person based on the results of this app might want to reconsider that.....

  • Actual review of the app quality.

I heard about this on Twitter and wanted to see how it actually worked, since people are only reviewing this based on their political and controversial standpoint of it, I thought I’d critique the app itself. I have a few problems. 1) You only get 5 pictures you can alter, I wasn’t aware of that and didn’t save the ones I did while I was playing around in the app, I have no idea how to get more or if you can. 2) It decreases the actual quality of the photo, it blurs the whole picture a little bit. 3) All the “remove” filter does is take off any apparent color, soften lines, and redden the skin. All of the pictures I have of myself are makeup-less, I choose not to wear make up and that’s fine, I don’t care who does and who doesn’t, but the app made me look like I was on a meth bender (Just to make it clear, I don’t and never have done meth). 4) If you looked at the other filter that put make up on the picture, the quality is just terrible, it looks like someone else’s eyes are cropped onto yours.
In my personal opinion the only people this app is useful to is shallow guys that only want to get laid but don’t very much.
All controversy aside, I genuinely think this is a bad app.

This is great. Thanks for the laffs lad.
  • Incredible

Artificial intelligence is coming a long way. We are making leaps and bound in the realm of technology, and as mundane as this app may seem, it clearly shows it. It isn’t perfect, but of course, nothing is, but again it goes to show how advanced it’s all becoming.
I have high hopes for tech like this, and no matter what anyone says, keep at it.

  • Awful

Hardly works. Can get way better apps that won’t force you to pay after 5 uses.
  • Fail

I did a couple of test runs and without makeup on the app I look like an old hagged witch when in reality I look like a young hagged witch. Needs some tweaking.
  • Looooooolllllll.

This app is a hilarious joke hahaha. It pretends to remove “makeup” off of your face, don’t be wearing eyeshadow though.... it doesn’t know what to do with that. So it applies really rough filters to your skin, making your cheeks really pink, and crusty looking. But again, if you have eyeshadow on that’s still flawless. Looollll. Amazing. It’s pretty sad that someone would take the time to create a garbage app like this. What’s even sadder is that they are trying to make money off it. You get 5 free images. Pick carefully, even if you don’t save the images, your free images are used! Def not worth the 99¢. Unless you're a troll who likes messing with people.

  • Funny

I got this for a laugh and to be fair it’s quite accurate , of course it’s a little bit off making the face a little grey but overall it’s accurate and I’m not offended at all😂
