I have used this app for other things and I believe i was rather too harsh i accept that it is a third party app that caused the delay but lots f other apps work really well and the best of it is they work first time so I have updated my review
This works ok but there is a noticeable delay which does not help when doing Zoom Meetings and i assume because of the delay that is the reason the sound down not transfer across as well. Update i realise that you can stream videos and photographs but the purpose of the app purchase was to stream family chats to our TV during our lockdown for which it does not work as well as expected, which is a pity as it does everything else quite well but it has more of a lag than the other mirroring app i was using initiallyShow less;gbjhq

Happy Mirroring. ------- Hi, Zoom is blocking audio for screen mirroring because of some privacy reasons from there side, unfortunately there is nothing we can do about that. We do hear better results from our Mac app. However, you can use our app in many other ways, like sharing photos and videos with your family, friends or colleagues. We hope you can improve our star rating with this information.Slow update but better than nothing!
This app is the only available and functioning app for casting. The delays can be very annoying, but gets the job done!Alex Minsky

Well I could think of Better ways to spend £5, bought this app after trying every type of app out there for mirroring your phone on the tv so we could watch films from my iPhone. What I can say is this just doesn’t work, it non stop buffers on your tv and is extremely behind and laggy, do something on your phone it takes 2 full minutes before it happens on your tv. Sound doesn’t come through the tv at all also. Wish I could get my money back as this app doesn’t work. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!Show lesssarelad

Hi, thanks for your purchase. We regret to hear that you are having issues with the latency. This should be around 1-3 seconds. However, there are a number or reasons that can be the source of this problem (e.g. network (not the same as internet speed), computer or TV settings). Please contact us either via email (support@airbeam.tv), Facebook Messenger or through the “send diagnostic information” option in the app. Our support staff is available 24/7 to help you out. Thanks! Please also make sure to turn down the sound of your device and turn up the sound on your TV. Lip Sync should be fine this way.Waste of money
This was a waste of money for me. Yes it worked mirroring from iPad to tv however the apps I needed to mirror ie Disney+ and Appletv doesn’t allow to connect via this app.
When it did connect netflix it was playing on iPad but wouldn’t buffer on tv

Hi, thanks for your purchase. As mentioned in the App Store description for this app (limitations), DRM protected apps will block the mirroring function for our app. The best way to check if an app has DRM limitation enabled, is to perform a regular 'screen recording' selecting the camera roll as destination (not our app). If the recording turns up with either a white or black screen, DRM protection is enabled and you cannot mirror that particular app. However, you can use our app in many other ways, like sharing photos and videos with your family, friends or colleagues. We hope you can improve our star rating with this information. Mac Tip: many but not all streaming services work on our Mac screen mirroring apps when you stream from Chrome or Firefox browser. Try our free trial app on our website (not for iTunes movies or Apple TV).Works good
After trying to get it working and failing, I actually requested a refund, But when I looked the the web and took note what other people were doing I thought I would give a retry.
Again Although the app found my old LG Smart TV, I just could not see it on the screen, This time I thought I would try the app help line explaining the problem and he could see that the app had been used and turned off (Big Brother comes to mind) he suggested that I used it when I am using a TV program that uses the HDMI cable.
On turning on my Talktalk box hey presto I found my photos on screen.
Patients is the virtue.

IPhone Connects to LG TV
It took COUNTLESS apps to find one that worked for my TV.... I was skeptical because I didn’t want to pay the $5 and it be another one that doesn’t work. Well, I found the app! Works great! We have terrible WiFi, and it is actually clear, and shows any screen from the phone. Love it!MEKey1104
Better than I expected!
This application worked well for me.
I was able to display my iPad's visual content on-screen with better clarity on my LG WebOS, with what I deem acceptable streaming lag.
This, and accounting for multi-devices simultaneously accessing my broadband hub, was better than I expected from a miracast system to iOS.
I am no longer restricted to, or happy with, settling for my previous 12-metre, snaking, HDMI cable mirror array.

Works Really Well!
After seeing the reviews I was dubious about purchasing but I saw how responsive the developers were so I’m glad I did...! It works really well if you follow their advice of turning sound on the original device down completely & turning the TV up - plus wait a minute to let it buffer/catch up and it seems to work perfectly :) I’ve been using it to watch live baby sensory classes during the Covid lockdown!Show lessSnowfrogUK
