Being honest I haven’t had a bad time on this app so far. Found it because of TikTok and gave it a try payed for premium because yes I’m impatient and curious who liked me plus you get “Major Crushes” every day so you can send a first message for a first impression before the match and all that jazz. I am sick and tired of the distance settings tho. Normally I don’t care about distance I like to drive however I set my max distance to 60mi and made sure that the app does NOT extend the range to find more people however I see people in NY which is fine but not to the point that someone is 260mi or more away when I have my settings set to 60mi max… Being honest don’t really get much matches in general don’t really care about that part but then I’m getting likes from all these people that are not showing up in my feed but I’m showing up in there’s and they end up being 6-9 hours away😑
That is all again not a bad app just annoying how it seems like the set distance doesn’t really work

Definitely a Scam

Saw an ad for this app on TikTok. Figured I’d try it out real quick to see what it’s about. Had it for a few days now. Pretty sure 90% of the accounts are completely fake. If you get any likes you will never be able to match with them since they never pop up on the feed. Only way you’ll ever be able to see them is if you pay, and like I said I’m pretty sure the accounts are fake so you’d literally be paying to match with fake accounts. I’ve also received a message which is similar to getting a like, but once again you have to pay to see it. I can tell from the picture of the account that messaged me that the girl is clearly attractive, which makes you want to pay even more so you can match with them. I can also tell from my likes that they’re all attractive even though they’re blurred. So they use fake accounts with attractive girls to make you want to pay to match with them. Only way I’ve gotten matches is if I like first, then the girl matches, but every match I got either doesn’t reply, unmatches or the account gets deleted. There’s also annoying ads that’s constantly pop up when using the app. Lastly there’s a live streaming section where girls just promote their onlyfans. This app is complete trash. Just another scam. Will be deleting.

Good app besides a few problems

Be carful on here folks there’s a user from Australia who's using multiple accounts with the same name if u notice it report her the moderator team knows her accounts and is trying too ban her indefinitely she’s stalked me and tried too harass me on multiple accounts so I give it a 1 star rating as there system isn’t up too standards with other apps like tinder badoo ect please be warned and stay safe also u will now get banned indefinitely and blocked from ever signing up again I’ve been permanently blocked for life myself for being reported too many times by other users when I wasn’t trying too be rude or anything

A faulty scam ridden app

The app used to be good, but now it's terrible. Some highlights:

* Ridden with constant 30 second video advertisements

* Highly suspect it has tonnes of fake accounts, many likes and matched yet an unusually high amount of no responses back

* To reveal a single like costs $7 each, insane.

* premium is also like $30 a week, also insane.

* Worse still i have noticed likes i have unblured, have actually reblured themselves again

* items I "won" during my premium time got removed randomly. Lost a whole bunch of super likes for example

* broken search feature, apparently Ive swiped on all the profiles in my area yet I see 20 blured profiles that like me. App goes out of its way to make sure you only get matches via premium

Absolute mess that stole my money, stick to hinge instead

If you have money to spend this app is for you

Everything is locked nf a paywall, want to see who viewed you? Pay for it. Want to match with the person who just liked you? Pay for it. ‘But surely if just liked me I’ll match with them soon because the way the algorithm works’? No. I’ve had people that have liked me weeks ago, and I’ve still not come across them despite liking over 50 people a day. There seems to be a lack of allowing the consumer to access things and more about making them pay for things that are minor. Even tinders algorithm is better because on that app, if someone likes you, once you close and open the app you’ll see them on the next 3 card stacks. But on this app there is nothing. The most baffling things is they even want you to pay, to find people less than 50km away, how much of a joke is that. But don’t worry all is saved! They have a spinning wheel where you can win ‘important things’ like a rollback, or 5 coins 😂 the worst thing about the wheel. 2 of the 6 prizes on it (so 33%) of the wheel is covered in discount to buy their premium service! This app literally screams buy buy buy. And this is my first ever review on apple play store but I had to just dive into how much of a joke the app is

False advertising, it’s worse than tinder

So I’ve downloaded this app on two separate occasions. The first time was 2 years ago and the second time was 5 days ago. You’d think during that timeframe that a lot of changes would be made but no. It’s still the worst dating app out there. Fake accounts, having to pay to message, locking you minimum distance at 50km so you can’t find anyone close. If you thought this was an alternative app for dating then you’d be wrong

Terrible app

Was charged for a free trial, they passed the blame onto apple when clearly that feature is broken, I’ve never seen such terrible customer service in my life.

Have reported the app to Apple for breaching their App Store policy. I suggest anyone who got banned for using a VPN or banned for similar reasons, or simply charged when they should not have been do the same. I was offered a free trial and was charged the next day for things that were not even offered to me. This clearly is in breach of apples App Store policy and Apple very much agrees. This app probably wasn’t scamming people but they certainly have been recently. I think hily really need to get a hold of their app before a class action lawsuit comes their way.

False advertising

The site boasted “meet people in your area” after the geo tag wasn’t working they said they fixed it and I still only see people in another state. After they said they can’t fix it they refused a refund as the app was not what it claimed to be and they pass the buck of responsibility to Apple Store!!!!
No help at all and just a confusing app to use all around if I could give it 0 starts I would.

Banned just after making an account.

I just downloaded this app and made an account following all the directions. As soon as I finish the account I get a notification saying “account banned”. I have no idea what I have done. I read through the community guidelines and I had followed them all. I messaged the support asking why my account was banned. An AI responded allowing me to try and re-activate the account. I tried this but was told it had violated something and would not be allowed the be re-activated. I than managed to message a person “Jeff” and they said my account was banned for a reason the internal security system detected and would not tell me why due to security reasons (which I understand). I then asked whether I could create a new account or whether I was no longer allowed on the app (bearing in mind this is the first time I have downloaded it and the first time I have ever tried making an account to my knowledge). I am rather upset that I have been given no explanation as to why my account was suspended.

Scam!! Steer clear!!

To start, this app doesn’t offer a lot of safety features. Your active/online status is constantly on and there’s no way to turn it off, this causes people to feel entitled to get answers. On top of that, anyone can message you, not only people who you like back, meaning the active status makes those not matches feel they should be replied to. They don’t make it clear that your profile will be shown internationally, which I think is an issue. A lot of people don’t have the money to travel internationally, so it doesn’t make sense to be shown that way. You have to pay in order to have a preference on the distance to yourself, meaning you have to go premium in order to see people 30 miles or under away. Hily just wasn’t an app for me. They don’t filter out to match your preferences, they claim by liking or not liking, you help them know, yet they don’t actually show people on your preference. They also send notifications that you “swipe no” too often but if I was shown people I prefer, I wouldn’t have to swipe no. To end, I tried to delete/deactivate this app, they didn’t delete my account!! They “paused” it. I definitely clicked “deactivate account” not pause. I hated this app and wanted to be off it completely. I felt unsafe and feel very unsafe it’s still “paused”. Thankfully, I did delete all the pictures of myself and added filtered ones that don’t look anything like me.
