This app makes my Zip Printer useless
I just got a zip printer for my birthday, I was very excited as I wanted to do a mini scrap book of family memories that have long been trapped in my phone. Well, much to my disappointment it stopped working after one day, and I’m guessing it’s the apps fault since suddenly it makes even pictures I previously printed no problem completely blurry, I tried printing anyway hoping it was just my phone showing it incorrectly, no such luck, printed an unrecognizable photo. So frustrating. I’ve done everything from checking my phone for an updated iOS to deleting the app and re-downloading, nothing works.Show lessKCMom17
Terrible Printer
While this app is an improvement from the last one, the printer still prints too dark. You waste your time and money (on the paper) trying to adjust photos to a brighter setting, only to have them come out looking discolored. I thought this would be perfect for my travel journals but I end up wasting photo paper and having to buy even more because it prints color horribly. The image on the screen is inaccurate compared to the prints. I really wanted to love this product. If the darkness were improved, the print quality would be great.Show lessNola_Girl 504
Great when it works
When it works, i love it. I use it daily and usually print mini pics in collage format for my planner. The problem is each time they correct a problem, a new problem arises. The current problem is that when loading pics for the collage, the pictures freeze and it eventually crashes. And at one time i could select a bunch of pics and drop them into the collage, remove them and select another, or move them around. With a recent update, those actions were discontinued. The quality of the prints is great. I love that they are adhesive. And it’s portability is great. Right now i am going to shelf it until there is another update.Show lessMelissap542

While I wait for update to this app. I’ll let u know that u can print from ur PC. I print from my MacBook. Pair the printer. Then u can send photos to device. Edit your photo so it’s not exactly 3:2. A bit wider. It crops it automatically, I think from both sides. Make sure it doesnt crop your head off. I’ll edit this review with better instructions. App is barely ok. Idk. I want to love it, but the app is annoying to use and pictures come out dark/ warm.

Although I don’t think it’s a deal breaker personally because it is just a fun portable printer for personal use. But, photos come out with a yellow tint. Even black and white photos have this tint. Is the tint a software thing or a hardware issue? I hear other similar printer have similar issue but colors come out a little more true.Show lessTolikkozak

This app doesn’t work well at all! The old app allowed me to print clear, bright pictures in a collage. This app won’t even let me scroll through my pictures to add them to a collage quickly - each scroll for the next set of images takes nearly a minute. Resizing or rotating the images in the collage nearly impossible, and the print quality is awful - pictures print dark, distorted, and/or blurry. I had hoped an app specific to the printer would be an improvement over the old app, but it is most certainly not.Show lesssahodgson
It will not work
I have had this printer and app for over a year now I have managed to print off 8 photos. Yes 8 photos. It has been the biggest disappointment for the largest amount of money. I have sent emails to the company they replied and said the app would be fixed. It has still not solved my issues. I printed out one photo today (I was happy the quality had improved which was good) and on the second one I got the same message as always “choose an accessory” and that’s it. The app crashes. Taking the app off and re loading does nothing. Absolutely nothing. It does however fuel my disappointment at such a monumental waste of money.Show lessPoodle47

More themed borders please!!!
I love the polaroid zip, I haven’t had a problem with it since it came out. Not even through the app which I love that it has been updated from the very first one. I really wish there were more themed borders like avengers or disney etc to make kid photos much cuter, or allow us to create themed borders. The Disney Memories app isn’t available in the U.S. and they had cute themed borders. Either way I love using the zip app!Show lesschirpyduh
Makes the printer useable
I’ve had this printer since July 2017. The previous version of the app was poor and coupled with the expensive paper made this product quite unusable. Since the update, I’ve printed 100 photos with no glitches, no Bluetooth dropout and no issues. Comparing the photos they also seem a bit clearer (not sure how). This app is brilliant and I love how it helps me use my printer now. I’d give it more than 5 stars if I could!Show lessVickiej83
