Cheap shot for the ego, not for creativity.
Very limited and basic sketch pad. My main gripes are the limited features of the sequencer and the fixed scales. There’s no ability for shuffle, fills, rachets or even the ability to manually tap in notes. The things that take time to program and make interesting music would be ideal to edit on the move with an iPad, rather than having to edits these sat at a desk. Also the ‘piano roll’ for europa and monotone are in fixed scales, major or minor with no option to switch between per track. This limits any creativity and makes the end results rather predictable. Do not expect this to enhance your creative palette, just to affirm what you already know. A cheap shot for the ego.
***another issue unresolved. If you activate the chord or arpeggiator, when exporting the files into reason it doesn’t play the notes in the same way. This means a completely different melody is printed compared to what you’ve composed in the app. Pointless

So close… why Propellerhead? Why?
Everything else you do is perfect.
And this is the perfect groove box… if not for one thing. Being limited to 8 bars kind of makes the whole thing pointless. I find myself using the free version of Auxy more often, even though there’s only two lead sounds, because I can lay out a full track. I can’t imagine paying for the full instruments if I can only use them for 8 bars, and the integration with AUM and AB is hardly enough to compensate. I feel let down because everything else by Propellerhead has blown my mind but even the full version doesn’t even feel like a demo with the 8 bar limit.

Cheaper upgrade to reason 12 with the lite version
I use reason at college and using compact I’ve been able to import cool sounds I made just a bonus you do seem to have cheaper upgrade to reason12 baring in mind the lite versions limitation you could export to other free daw like cakewalk per example as audio file.
Access projects on all devices
I’ve started using Compact, it’s been a few years since I have worked on anything. Already have Reason 10 full, but started working on a track on the iPhone while on a huge commute home. As I found it fiddly I tried to jump onto the iPad, but immediately found that I can’t access the project that I started on the iPhone! Is this something something that will be introduced on your next release, or is it something I’m missing?

Forced account creation
App developers need to STOP with the forced account creation nonsense. I have 437 different accounts because every app requires you to sign up just to get into the app. I don't want to join your music community. I don't want to browse other artists work. I don't want to share my work with others. I want to use the app, offline, whenever I feel like being creative, without having to jump through hoops to do it. When and if I ever decide to join your community, make a link easy to find and let me decide when to sign up.
I have lost access to several of my apps because developers added forced app creation to use the program.
Just stop.

This App Scans your details and wastes your battery
Last night I charged my phone to 100% and I went to work and during work my battery was dramatically draining. At the end of the day I checked my battery and everything was okay but today I saw that this monstrosity of an app has been taking my battery. All of my details were taken away and my passwords were leaked. Do not download this app. It is terrible..

Blank screen
After logging in it goes straight to a black screen and just sits there. It’s been like this for a long time. Worthless app, which is sad because I own reason 11 and have been using reason since the first version (which I still have) Please fix
Please add different time signatures
I love this app. I use it daily, I compose with it all the time, I just wish it offered something more than 4/4, and more than 8 bars. It’s still absolutely great though.

It would be so amazing to have 3/4, 6/8, 7/8 etc and have it selectable per instrument, so you could have a 3/4 lead loop playing over/across a 4/4 drum beat.

Account creation process broke Reason apps
This and Figure are both just stuck on a black screen after the introduction. Not sure why this hasn’t been fixed yet but it seems like no-one cares about these apps now. Really unfortunate as they were leading class in rapid tune creation.
