Not accepted at customs

Refused by customs office at Brussels Eurostar and Paris CDG, could not validate therefore no refunds.

106 days since invoice and counting - not received refund

Great app, responsive team but no refund after 106 days.
Claiming issues with French tax agencies,
Fine.
But you’re taking 15% commission, you should be able to finance the wait with loans like any professional business would.

Tax Refund success

I was a bit nervous since this is my first time using this app. However, it was a relatively smooth process. Download the app, make your purchase and ask for the invoice as indicated in the app (I went to Galeries Lafayette and either the clerk or their tax/concierge desk made the invoice without issue), then scan or stamp at customs. I had a bit of an issue with using an American bank account but a quick chat got it straightened out. You can either use a bank or PayPal for the refund (the credit card feature didn’t work for me). All in all I got 90% of the 20% VAT (calculated as 18% VAT on the subtotal as the refunded amount). Refund amount varies a bit depending on your total purchases. This is a lot more than the in person tax agencies! Refund took about a week after I submitted the forms. PayPal/your bank may also charge a fee for the wire/exchange into USD during the refund so be mindful for that. The in person places do the same. Definitely will use again!

No refund received after more than 23 days!

Hello,
Just to warn people out there that I haven’t received my refund from early January neither did my wife. They keep saying it will be prioritized but nothing gets processed. They claim to process it in 48 hours I believe…

Déjà 3 voyages en Europe et 3 remboursements reçus

Quelle facilité, demande de facture au nom de Zaptax, j’ai une copie d’écran avec l’adresse. Scan en sortant du magasin. Validation de mes factures et calcul des taxes au fur et à mesure des achats. Passage express devant la borne Pablo. Et affaire réglée avec des taux bien meilleurs que la compétition! Bravo à l’équipe Zaptax

Easy! High rate! Legit!

This app is legit. Took me about a month go get my refund. Not 24 hours. It would be nice if they mention it… so it’s not false advertised since it’s no longer 24 hour. Easy to use. Was able to claim all my purchases even without invoice edited. So that is super good. The more you spend the more percent you get back. Highest is 14.99% which I got. So I personally think it’s worth the wait. Then the traditional way which is 10% cash at the airport. I would recommend using this!!!

EU tax refund made super easy!

I am using the app for years now and it a lifesaver for the tax refund process. The biggest benefit is that you’re not limited to each “store daily sales limit” in order to get a refund. You can aggregate all the receipt through ZappTax and they will be the one managing all the paperwork. Everything is digital and super easy to use. They also helped me figure out how to validate the form after my trip because I couldn’t find a custom’s agent and none of the “Pablo” machines were working. It was a bit tricky but we finally made it. Thanks again guys. Really, a great option for travelers.
