Where is my refund?
They may be great few years back, but not now! Definitely have not received my refunds and a week later I contact them to follow up. They replied with a long message saying they have 5 years track records of refunding 100% of their customers blah blah blah. And due to significant growth their reserve is depleted to process refund within 24 hours, but will do so ‘within few weeks or as soon as they can’!
SO the question I have is - why can’t you update your website with that info instead of still claiming refunding customers timely?Show lessGOcomp

Hello, Indeed, we are experiencing some delays in processing refunds because the tax authorities are taking a bit more time to refund us, this is mostly due to a significant increase in transaction volume in the recent months. This is frustrating. For our users. For us. But nothing to worry about... we indeed have a 5-year track record of refunding ALL our users, without exception. You will get your refund. We are working on structural solutions to get back on track with the 24h refund policy. I was able to download the app, complete my verification, upload all my receipts as I stood in line to check in for the flight.

These guys have a liquidity issue. Their promise of payment within 24 hours of customs validation is false. Beware.AB007!?

The app and process is smooth
The form generation or barcode is fast
It worked well at the airport
BUT
I did not receive the refund yet.
So all this for nothing at this stage.
Only received a generic email explaining they are struggling with refunds.
It may take some time (weeks? months?) or simply never happen.

Hi 👋🏻 We totally understand you concerns and frustration. The delay on refund is happening because the tax authorities in France are taking longer than usual to process the refund requests. Sadly we have no control over this part of the process. If your tax free form appear as “validated” on the app you don’t to worry the refund will get to you as soon as the paperwork is processed. I made some shopping whilst in France and left on 18th April. 3 weeks later and still no reimbursement. When messaging Zapptax about it they replied that there was a delay because of tax authorities. I wish they could have communicated better to advise me and give me an expected date of reimbursement. Not sure now how reliable this system is.Show lessjuliemalice

The team behind the app is excellent, and the service meets all expectations: low fees, clear process, VAT refund paid on export of goods ordered from any retailer (including deliveries of online orders) with no requirement to hit the EUR 100 threshold in individual orders, cash received within days of travelling.
