Exceptional service
I’m taking the time to write this review because the ZappTax team really goes beyond to deliver customer service. I shout out to Chantal who personally went to customs in Brussels several times to sort out an issue and kept me updated along the way.
She and the ZappTax team are examples of exceptional customer service.
And if you wonder, their app is great and simple.
Where is my refund?
SO the question I have is - why can’t you update your website with that info instead of still claiming refunding customers timely?

Hello, Indeed, we are experiencing some delays in processing refunds because the tax authorities are taking a bit more time to refund us, this is mostly due to a significant increase in transaction volume in the recent months. This is frustrating. For our users. For us. But nothing to worry about... we indeed have a 5-year track record of refunding ALL our users, without exception. You will get your refund. We are working on structural solutions to get back on track with the 24h refund policy. Efficient process but no refund received yet
The form generation or barcode is fast
It worked well at the airport
BUT
I did not receive the refund yet.
So all this for nothing at this stage.
Only received a generic email explaining they are struggling with refunds.
It may take some time (weeks? months?) or simply never happen.
Pretty disappointed in fact

Hi 👋🏻 We totally understand you concerns and frustration. The delay on refund is happening because the tax authorities in France are taking longer than usual to process the refund requests. Sadly we have no control over this part of the process. If your tax free form appear as “validated” on the app you don’t to worry the refund will get to you as soon as the paperwork is processed. If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact our support directly from the chat on the app.
